“Communication poor from the start. I required groundworks to be carried out before my charger could be installed. I received a specification from Pod Point which stated what was required and had the groundworks completed as per the specification I was sent, to be told that it was wrong and further works would be required. Trying to contact the person I was dealing with to book (re-book several times) an installation was impossible and I was left waiting for weeks before I received an appointment. From receiving my car to having the charger installed was over 3 months, if it wasn't for the charger being included in my lease I would have gone with someone else.”

“Overall, the installation was a simple process, filling out a pre-install form saved time on the day and plenty of dates/times were available for flexible booking. Installation on the day was quicker than I expected and using the charger was clearly explained.”

“Too many demands. Would be much easier if PodPoint did prep work. It needed PodPoint electrician and my electrician to get together to agree required works, which were much simpler than PodPoint initial demands. I have also been awaiting a refund since the beginning of August as the website did not state that 3 phase was required for 22kW. That is disgraceful. Happy with the installation.”

“Mixed experience Firstly Pod Point was not keen on installing the cable. They pushed this job to me. To get the job progressed I was forced to agree to install it myself. The first project manager (Toby) was not helpful at all, lots of wasted time was spent trying to get an installation date booked. Unfortunately, the first installer who came was unable to complete the job and I was told to buy a new higher amp MCB and install it myself and then rebook the installation. This was confirmed in an email from the Project manager. The instructions to replace the MCB proved to be incorrect, which was discovered when the 2nd installer came (Vishal - he was excellent). He arranged for Pod Point to order the correct part (in fact an RCBO - not sure why they made me buy and install it the first time) - he came and fit the RCBO a couple of days later with no hassle. Overall my experience with the first project manager and installer is one star. The 2nd project manager (Quin) and installer (Vishal) - were both excellent and would rate them 5 stars. So overall will rate the experience 3 stars”

“Right from the start of the booking process, I found Pod point to be excellent, in terms of communication to arrange the install. The Engineer turned up on time, was very efficient and knowledgeable and did a fantastic job of siting the charge point. It's exactly where I wanted and the job was immaculate.”
