Very impressed with the service from start to finish. Easy to order, install scheduled super quick and the work carried out by Haydn was excellent. He explained everything well and I’ve not no issues to date.

Excellent service all round. The online booking system worked well, I was clearly informed about the information I had to submit and about how the installation would proceed. On the day the installer turned up in the advertised time window and 2 hours later I had a working charge point.

I had an engineer out 4 times before it was correctly installed and working. first engineering not qualified to install it second one not given details of what had to be installed shortly after the circut breaker failed and had to be replaced throughout the unit failed to release the cable from the pod. Engineer came out for a forth time and replaced parts. It took over 5 weeks 4 home visits and numerous calls to customer services before I got a correctly working pod.

I have been experiencing issues with the rate of charge not getting above 4.3kWh (incidentally I know 2 people with the exact same fault who are also getting nowhere with podpoint). I contacted podpoint in April and they just employ stalling tactics such as checking the cars software and try again, check the cars setting and try again, check the schedule and try again. Each response takes over a week to receive and essentially nothing is being changed so the outcome is the same and it is partially irritating that I had already confirmed everything they asked. As a result of the low output I am now forced to charge outside of my EV tariff hours which has quadrupled my charging costs. My unit is around 2 years old and podpoint appear unable or unwilling to support any kind of diagnosis or resolution. Looks like my only option is to pay for removal of the podpoint and fit a new unit from a professional company such as Ohme! Don’t waste your money with podpoint! Update: 14/7/23. Despite the public reach out on another review site 2 months ago from Podpoint the reality is they are ignoring my emails. They have firmly blamed the vehicle manufacturer for the issues despite the issue being exclusively experienced on Podpoint chargers, and the unit charging the vehicle for the first 18 months of ownership. Essentially they will mis-sell you a product that is (by their own admission) not fit for purpose, run you round in circles devolving any responsibility whilst failing to honour the warranty, and then ignore any attempt on your part to have the issue resolved. Due to the low output I can no longer use my reduced rate hours to charge at home meaning my charging costs have quadrupled as a direct result! Hardly encouraging from a company they would benefit from EV uptake.

The pre-installation process could have been made a bit easier by having an initial visit/consultation with someone from Pod Point. Other than this everything is was really straight forward & the installation went great. Haydn installed my charger and he was professional & explained everything really clearly.

Appointment arranged very quickly. Very pleasant installation engineer (Matt) who did a super neat job and helped me set up the app. 10/10 service

Very efficient and courteous installer. The rest was just online stuff, which was fine. The self-survey was a bit fiddly and requires a little technical knowledge, or at least patience.

Edward kept me informed of his expected arrival on day. He was very polite, courteous and respectful of my property. Explained the charger lights and left a brochure. All round a very good experience.

On the day of installation it was very good & the fitter was excellent but leading up to the installation day i had no confirmation emails of the date and time so i had to phone pod-point myself to get the confirmation that pod-point was definitely coming

Contact the day before, arrived in time, communicated what he was going to do, gave me quick updates when required for power off, speedy installation, neat installation, connected into meter cupboard for tidier install, happy! Only odd thing I found was an EV Charge Company coming in a diesel van rather than an EV Van!

The whole process from engaging with Sales team to Installation was very smooth. Pod Point team was constantly in touch and ensure that all my questions are addressed. The Installation Engineer was very friendly and competent. He did a great job very swiftly and then explains to me how it ll work via app etc.

Overall, it was alright..... It's an effective charger but it was a long time between booking/paying and installation. I also had to do quite a bit of digging around for information prior to confirming the installation.
