“I was impressed with Pod Point Limited from the moment I contacted them. They responded promptly and were very helpful in the early stages of my decision to choose them. The installation was exactly how I had requested it and the installer, Sean, was one of the most competent electrical engineers I have come across for a long time. I would highly recommend Pod Point.”

“The guy who fitted the pod point was very good and even tried to get the fitting done within a timescale as he knew I had to go out. Can't fault him he was brilliant. Only 4 stars as there was a lot of going backwards and forwards with the telephone team. Would I use them again? Yes. Do they need to speed the telephone team up a bit? Yes.”

“I was dealt with professionally and courteously . I needed to provide a lot of information and images upfront to inform the installation which required a trench and cable from our meter to the PodPoint position in our garage, but doing so allowed the team to provide an accurate quote. Other suppliers fell short in this regard and could not confirm their installation price. I am delighted with the product which appears to be well designed and robust.”

“Original booking was cancelled with very little notice. Less than ideal. Appointment was rescheduled. On the day the experience was good and the guy that undertook the installation was very polite and efficient.”

“My installation was challenging but my engineer, Liam Robinson, was exceptionally helpful and resourceful. Nothing was too much bother for him and he cheerfully attacked the installation in my Grade II listed, awkwardly-positioned property. He went out of his way to be helpful and despite all the challenges my ancient house presented him, he managed to find a solution and kept smiling too!”

“Pre-installation experience was terrible with lots of calls required. Only just required electrical installation certificate 5 months after installation. Over pretty poor. Continuously calling and emailing enquiries about a new installation after my pod point had been installed and I eventually called and asked them to specifically update their records that I had a point installed. Would only engage once you have paid in full for the installation. Overall poor”

“I would highly recommend PodPoint, the process was quick and easy and they firstly offered to come and fit the charger within a few days. The technician we had was very nice, polite, quick at installing and explained how it all worked. The lady I spoke to originally in sales again was knowledgeable, polite and very helpful. The charger itself is small, neat and easy to use with the app.”

“Pros: This company is on fire, with fast dedicated customer service and installers. Ordered on Friday and Podpoint EV charger was installed on Tuesday. The driver/ electrician was swift, the Installation was smooth and had no hitches, and it took less than two hours. Pod point is a Simple machine, that worked straightaway from the word go... Simple enough to use and no pi squared! Cons: Although the company and CSR say it integrates with solar, think what they mean, Solar PV panels send electricity to the grid and EV charger gets KWs from the grid! wow... I think unless Pods update their system and App, it is only using electricity from the grid. Nothing on the app shows it is taking energy from solar generation (like Zappi does). In this regard, they are a bit behind Zappi. I have a 6KW solar system so it will be nice to use generated electricity going into the car instead into the grid...”

“The installation initially went very well. Nilesh the engineer was very professional and has made a good job of connecting the Pod to my electrical supply. He also connected the POD to my home wifi. Unfortunately, I then downloaded the Pod Point App and was Unable to connect it to the POD. This was completed remotely by Pod Point which delayed the useful functions within the App. I have then received an electrical installation certificate with my name spelled incorrectly, which I have referred back to Pod Point for correction.”
