“The original template that I completed to check that everything necessary was in place for a smooth installation was very thorough. The Installer called before the appointment to make sure all was still okay to go ahead and he was very polite, completed the installation quickly and made a tidy job. 10 out 10”

“The installation could not be completed on the first visit as the incoming voltage (253V) was too high for the charger range (230V-250V), but was within the tolerance of UK supply voltages (216V - 253V). We had to contact National Grid to ask them to rectify the voltage supply level. Then we had to make several calls to Pod Point to arrange a second visit to complete the installation. We were disappointed that despite paying £1000 upfront for a service, we had to waste time and energy to arrange the modification of the incoming voltage ourselves. Furthermore, it is unacceptable that you are supplying a product that does not function across the tolerance range of UK supply voltages. As EV charging point installations become more frequent, this will be a growing problem and source of frustration for customers and DNOs.”

“The order process was a little too complicated and confusing, with limited responses from the team helping to book an appointment. Having to pay the cost upfront before an installation is booked feels wrong. However the actual installation was great, the engineer was knowledgeable and able to explain all the options and installed it quickly without any hassle.”
