Installer was very good. It would be helpful if pod point had let me know what time installer was coming. It is difficult to find Pod Point's telephone number.

Our electrician was so lovely, professional and worked through terrible rain to install first part. When the second part needed a new part ordering, they booked us in immediately and he came back, completing the job swiftly and cleaned up any mess. Thank you! We can’t wait to become part of the electric car club with our new pod point .

Initial contact really poor, took nearly 3 weeks of me chasing to get an installation date. Once the date was set the actual team who installed the charge point were excellent, great Comms, quick and tidy installation and spent time explaining how to use the charger and link to the app etc

The original template that I completed to check that everything necessary was in place for a smooth installation was very thorough. The Installer called before the appointment to make sure all was still okay to go ahead and he was very polite, completed the installation quickly and made a tidy job. 10 out 10

The installation could not be completed on the first visit as the incoming voltage (253V) was too high for the charger range (230V-250V), but was within the tolerance of UK supply voltages (216V - 253V). We had to contact National Grid to ask them to rectify the voltage supply level. Then we had to make several calls to Pod Point to arrange a second visit to complete the installation. We were disappointed that despite paying £1000 upfront for a service, we had to waste time and energy to arrange the modification of the incoming voltage ourselves. Furthermore, it is unacceptable that you are supplying a product that does not function across the tolerance range of UK supply voltages. As EV charging point installations become more frequent, this will be a growing problem and source of frustration for customers and DNOs.
