“Joel was professional and pleasant to deal with. He communicated his arrival 30mins prior and when he got to the house, he inspected the area, agreed the route and got working. Everything was set up before he left and we just need to wait for our car to arrive before we can use it.”

“Communication with Pod point was a bit hit or miss, But Jack (installation engineer),was professional, efficient and friendly. He also explained what was required and the best options for us, he also implemented electrical bonding at a reasonable extra cost.”

“When I initially ordered the home point charger, I encountered numerous options but lacked clear guidance on which would be the most suitable for my car. The information requested by Pod Point didn't necessarily align with my actual requirements. However, after speaking with one of their engineers, I gained a clear understanding of the necessary setup and my preferences. Once this issue was resolved, scheduling the engineer for the charger installation was swift. The assigned engineer, Jacob, demonstrated excellent communication by providing advance notice of his arrival. He arrived ahead of schedule, displaying a friendly demeanor. His efficiency and skill resulted in a clean and tidy installation. Jacob's assistance with the setup and his thorough explanation of every detail were truly helpful. I was genuinely impressed by his dedication and the quality of his work.”

“Don’t be fooled by reviews about great installation (my install was also great), this review is about living with a Pod Point Charger after a couple of years. Despite Pod Points website listing their chargers as compatible with many brands I have had issues getting over 3.5kw from my 7kw unit and Pod Point tell me their is a compatibility issue with the 8 different vehicles I have tried to charge. I have been back and forth since early April and despite multiple firmware updates and even a hardware replacement my charger is still failing to output at the specified rate, an issue Pod Point have acknowledged is an issue with compatibility they are trying to solve. The reality of this is that I have to pay to charge outside of my EV tariff time zones costing me in the region of 3-4 times the amount. On another review Pod Point made public reach out asking me to contact a specific email address, unfortunately this was just a public gesture and they have failed to respond to me. I have also emailed both their customer and complaints team, both of whom also no longer respond. Today I have unfortunately been forced to file with the courts for the cost of an alternative replacement charger due to the product not being fit for purpose or compatible as advertised.”

“Process of ordering was straight forward. I had read positive reviews online about Pod Point so decided to go with them. I was lucky to get a cancellation so the whole system was ordered and installed within a week. Installation took about two hours and was very neat. Electricity was off for about ten minutes or so. The installer talked me through the process of setting the Pod Point up and I managed to set up the app.”
