The process of researching, ordering and installation was very straightforward. All necessary information was available on the website and customer service was made available each step of the way. My installer, Matt was great. When he arrived we discussed where we could install the Pod Point and what would be involved. When he completed the work he took me through everything to get started with charging my vehicle. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations.

Installer was thorough and did an excellent job. Explained the process clearly and gave me time to ask questions. Really nice chap! The install is nice and tidy and he allowed me to choose where I wanted it and certainly appreciated that the house looked nice from the outside and he wanted to ensure the pod point was installed in the best location. Post installation clean up was not that good though and there was lots of white render dust on the unit itself, and the fuse cabinet could have done with a hoover out afterwards as there are loads of chunks of plaster on the ground. This seems like something that should have been included. Would love to attach pictures but that seems to break the review process! When he left, I noticed that the charger itself was already very scored on the black plastic and it made me wonder if this is a second hand unit. Also, as I cannot link the device to my app yet, I think this is attached to someone else’s older account. On the topic of not being able to connect to the app. It will not link to my account at all and I have to wait up to 2 days for the help team to respond. Not really what I expected when first getting my pod point. My sister just had a hypervolt installed and she was able to track her spend within ten minutes of installation. Not sure why linking the app is taking so long. The ability to scan a QR code wasn't there as there was no QR code on the pod point. When I register the code manually it clearly states that it has sent me an email but no email arrived. Waited for hours and in the end I raised a case with the help desk. Telephone service is apparently only for urgent queries.

A truly flawless experience. Placed order yesterday lunchtime: called by Podpoint at 4pm as there was a cancelation today . Engineer rang at 8.15 that he had completed his first job : arrived at 8.50 and job completed by 10.45. Clean , perfect communication throughout . Highly recommend.

It was a tricky process, as I didn't have a straightforward cable run, so I already had to pay over what was quoted at the beginnig of the process. However Gareth Jones, with his years of installation experience was able to identify, the optimum route and was able to complete the instalaltion to a high standard. Thank you.
