Installer was amazing but the process to get him there was a nightmare with multiple photos and videos having to be submitted. I was told that access would be required to the electric supply box which meant moving a washing machine and removing worktops. Once the installer attended he said we needn’t have done that and amended instillation due to the electric supply box being difficult to access. Had an engineer have just been sent in the first place it would have avoid a lot of hassle and disruption.

My installation proved to be technically challenging due to living in a large, grade II listed house with power for the charger supplied from a secondary fuse board. A direct connection to the mains was not possible due to concrete flooring, listed flagstones and listed building consent conditions over where the charger could be installed. PodPoint arranged for a site survey and found a good solution to these challenges, I would happily recommend them

I was worried that the installation would be problematic due to the location of the electricity supply and the location for the pod to be mounted being awkwardly placed from each other. However, my worries were unfounded and the installation was completed without fuss or disruption, and in a timely fashion with everything left very neat and tidy. One happy customer. I have yet to actually use the charger though as my car is still on order.

Actual installation on its own would score 5/5 however electronic dealings in lead-up abysmal with responses taking at least 48 hours. When chased for a response immediate reply given. When questioned, no response to my query as to why the customer was expected to complete the initial survey. No response to my email stating I was 76, not so agile any more and not very tech savvy. still await an explanation for the reference made to on-going covid 19 regulations, what were they at the end of April 2023 ?
