“Engineer arrived, rang doorbell then left extremely hastily! I phoned him a few minutes later… no answer. He went to his next job but refused to return to me after despite obviously now having a free space! Over an hour spent on the phone to pod point, on hold for most of it! Finally got a rebooking a week later and on the day we collected our EV car. This engineer was really good. However, 3 hours into the installation he said that we can’t use it due to our tails being too small! An upgrade is required, basically a smart metre will cure but he can not do that, our energy supplier must. Over a week on and we still can not use the charger as there are no free appointments in the near future to get this completed. So we have an EV that we can’t charge at home! All pictures etc were sent to pod point so they should have advised us of this issue before the installation… they did not! We have the charger installed that can not be used! I might contact pod point, spend another 45mins on hold and tell them to come and take the thing back and give me a refund. Terrible customer service on this and other issues that i can’t be bothered to explain. I would suggest avoiding.”
