“The overall process went smoothly, had to take pictures of various items for the online survey which took about 20mins. The installation by Haydn went well and he did a great job. The charger is very easy to use and the app gives all of the consumption information to see how the car is performing.”

“Dithering over which company to use, as I was? Stop dithering and choose Pod-Point ! Their price was the best and the service is very good. Particular thanks to Alexander for his great help planning the installation, but also Connor who actually fitted my charger. The end result is a smart little unit, neatly fitted and wired along the route I preferred. Comprehensive planning process prior to installation --- a bit of a faff, but preparation is key to a good job done how you want it. The app is good once you have linked it to your charger. This was a bit of a problem as they seem to have difficulties sending some verification emails to confirm the link, but once past that hurdle it all looks easy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to anyone. Well done, guys, and thankyou.”

“There is a recurring fault on my home charger. Pod point are extremely difficult to contact to get any customer support. There is an online service request form that no one replies to and a phone line cue that never goes down.”

“I obtained several estimates for a 7kW EV power supply for my new car. Pod Point was the cheapest by quite a margin. Some quotes were hundreds of pounds dearer. Whether they would have been better is, of course, unknown. The installer was pleasant enough but I thought it was a bit of a cheek to connect his own electric ID3 to MY power point to fill HIS car up at MY expense. It wasn't just momentary, either, but probably about half an hour. If he wanted to test the installation my own car was actually closer. In use the Pod Point works OK. There were some problems with the app initially but it seems to be working now. It is disappointing that I cannot turn off the power supply via the app and have to scrabble about on the floor to get to the contact breaker. This is to prevent further unauthorised use which I know can happen. Further email communication with the company is reasonably good. I think my rating of "Acceptable" is justified.”

“The initial service was great. Response to my order was very quick and an appointment for installation came the next morning. The installation itself was good and the engineer explained everything. A few days later we received our EV, we managed three charges in two days and then the Pod Point stopped working completely. I now have to use the 3-pin plug charger which takes ages to fully charge my car. No update yet as to when Pod Point will come and fix the issue. It’s a huge amount of money - ~£1000 for a device that was used three times before breaking. I would have expected a much quicker response to the issue and certainly feel disappointed now.”
