Pod-point was scheduled for fitting, on the day of the fitting I was telephoned and told the fitter was not coming because he had a puncture! Hard to believe I know, I must try ringing my employer and say I won’t be in today I have a puncture!! I was told a manager would call me that never happened. Waited weeks for this installation looks like it’s going to be another 10 days provided the fitter does not get another puncture! Customer service? I’ll leave you to work that one out! Surprised they didn’t put it down to Brexit. A wasted day off work for me, sorry no happy ending. I’ve not embellished anything just the facts, good luck

It did take me nearly 4 months and loads of phone calls to get that home charging point done it is absolutely ridiculous. And then in the middle of the process pod point try to charge me extra as well and there is a few staff hasn't been explained to me at the beginning of the process like extra charges or what I need to have to be able to claim the government discount I was just lucky because I have a garage what if I haven't got a garage or a drive The fitter guy was really nice and the lady I was talking about dates , But everything else was just horrible

The PodPoint customer service guy confirmed what wiring we needed to install the unit, the day for the concrete slab and the day for the unit installation. We then had the wiring work done at great expense, a few days later the sub-contractor arrived to what I thought was to put in the concrete, but he had not been advised of this and had no equipment to do the work! Instead of delaying the work, he kindly went out to buy the necessary bits and came back later to put concrete in. The next day another sub-contractor arrived to install the PodPoint only to inform me of the terrible news that we had the wrong wiring for the unit we had bought. The PodPoint customer service had told us the incorrect wiring for the 22kw unit! Very begrudgingly we accepted the 7kw unit because we didn't want to dig up our driveway again! The other really annoying thing is that the customer service team never called me back, I left 3 messages and emailed, and nothing!

Charger installed on 4th Oct. Stopped working on 9th Oct. Have called helpline four times and each time been told that my issue would be passed on to head office and they would call me and arrange for an engineer to attend. However have had no contact from anyone so far. Extremely poor customer service. Very unhappy customer.

Obviously had to take time off work to allow access. First engineer didn’t have the correct “breaker” so unable to complete job Was given another date 2 weeks later, I thought this was far too long (EV due just after the attempted installation, also needed the car as I was on call) Thus emailed and phoned, but no action taken Completing the installation took another 3 hours Installation still not complete as device charges but is not linked to wireless, have used Pod-Point app to request help but none offered so far Just a really really poor experience, time consuming and still not complete

It hasn't worked since installation. By PodPoint's own admission, the installation was done incorrectly. Now it needs the Network team to contact me. They haven't bothered, even though I told PodPoint that I am away for a week and will end up with a fully discharged, stuck car. Happy to take your payment upfront, not in such a hurry to make it work. Wish I had gone with someone else.

Initial quote, paid for, then subject to 700% increase, by additional charge of £2,300. Beware of these people

It's one star, only because nil stars isn't an option. Problems with installation App not working account login details no longer recognised Car not charging fully Can't see charging history or current status No customer service at all, been waiting almost two months for a solution despite numerous attempts via phone and email. Trading standards have acknowledged the issue and they confirmed there are grounds for repair, replacement or refund, it's now time for a solution, fast. Nice web site, patter and the product might be ok (the carge station itself), but look elsewhere if you want any form of customer service.

Told engineer would arrive between 8am - 9am, never turned up, my wife and I chased and chased Podpoint being fed lie after lie after lie, truly awful experience which drove my wife to tears, Andrew the engineer was excellent once he finally arrived after 2pm. Wouldn’t recommend Podpoint to anybody.

I was expecting one of your engineers to pop round and install my home charger today between 8 am and 10 am. It is now 3 pm and still no engineer in sight. Also, called your company 3 times and was promised a call back on every occasion none of which actually materialised (otherwise, why would I call you 3 times?). No indication when and if an engineer will even come today. Discharge of a service and management of expectations.

Delay in installation not expected. 3.5 weeks to have the thing installed isn't acceptable. Also, paid for a lock which wasn't installed. Promised that the installer would return the same or next day. This didn't happen. Rearranged for the following week but installer didn't turn up. Had to threaten use of a charge back under section 75 consumer credit act for the full balance, in order to get Pod Point to supply and fit the goods as per the contract. This caused the installer to show up the very next day at 8am, funnily enough. This isn't acceptable business practice.

The whole company is a shambles.. Worst experience ever with a company doing work at my home. Lost 2.5 days pay waiting in but nobody arrives.. Called Pod Point over 10 times awaiting callback, never once received a return call.. It really bad.. Recommend avoid this company at all costs..

The fitter was great. The experience up to that point was hellish. People (Faye? Stuart??) were going to “call back” but didn’t. The filling out of forms was nightmarish. Endlessly being re-told to fill out forms I’d already filled (and you’d acknowledged). STILL requesting forms after you’d taken payment and sent a receipt. And then suddenly our of nowhere sending a “thanks we’ve got everything” note. I spoke to someone - post the Faye/Stuart no show - who said it looked like you’d taken payment TWICE (please confirm you haven’t). Then the endless wait for call backs re the installation. When the fitter showed up he was fine and it all looks good. But you really need to make the process easier - get your side of it sorted - call back when you say you will - and basically read a book on customer service.

The original fitter was meant to arrive around 2PM on the 20/08 - 4.5 hours later he turns up and lets us know he won't be able to complete the install today. Roll on multiple emails and calls to head office, email complaint all to no avail. 4 weeks later still no appointment. Finally 5 weeks later somebody takes charge and the appointment is arranged for the next day. How hard could that be.

Delay in booking -requested early June 2019 eventually fitted mid September 2019. Invoices for extra charge to fit in loftspace. When fitter arrived on date arranged could not fit in loftspace as working alone so fitted within conservatory trunking, but could not complete on that day anyway and also cut through garage lighting wires so without for a week until returned to complete work. Then had to independently link to WiFi as he was in hurry to leave.

Ordered pod-point. All paid - completed survey with photo's etc and then nothing! Had email confirming all paperwork done and would then get an email with install date within 5-7 working days. 8 working days later many phone calls with broken promises, same on day 9 and 10. Even told the manager Stuart Cambell would email by the end of the day but nothing! Have now emailed to ask for refund - I'll be going elsewhere. Terrible service.

Not being able to seek the advice of a technician on the phone, nor face to face, PRIOR to paying, up front, for ordering expensive technical electronic equipment.
