Very happy with the engineer who put in the podpoint. Not so happy with organisation as a lot of work seemed to be demanded of customers who were asked for information most people would not be expected to have . The cost of the proceedings was high and I expected better service. Actual installation excellent

The survey and installation were very good. The information exchange between the survey and the office was not consistent which meant I was asked to pay for 5 additional hours installation time upfront, 3 of which were later refunded. It would have made more sense to explain that there may be additional charges and charge me accurately afterwards. The big upfront cost made me debate whether or not I could afford the install at all. I also had to pay to hire ladders for the installers which was very strange - they are still in my kitchen 10 days later.

It was hard work and quite tiresome with endless emails and requests to get ready fo the installation. However the installation by Corey was brilliant, so helpful, smooth and straight forward.

Found the communication to be very poor. The engineer was delayed on the original timeslot was between 8 am to 12 pm but the engineer did not arrive until almost 6 pm. Would have expected a phone call from the head office to inform me of this as I had taken time off work. Once the engineer arrived he was however very hard-working and completed our installation even though it was dark.

It was ok, the installation took 3hrs and 15 mins. The electrician was polite. The charger is on the wall and works. I did have my electrician pre-fit an isolator so that no drilling or damage would be necessary, but the electrician said that i had to have another cable fitted in case the supply was overloaded, even though the new power supply was 3 core 25mm armored cable from the house. I heard hammer drilling, even though the garage is timber frame, and the electrician had drilled from inside and split out the timber cladding which was a shame. Anyway....it works

I had the worst experience with my podpoint installer and he was the subcontractors from Oxford. I must say the quality of work was reasonable but his communication was beyond my imagination and I wouldn’t recommend this subcontractor to anyone. He was very impatient and rude whilst explaining after the installation. He has called me to show the work and left my home within 2 minutes and his reason was he had to do another job.He was very unprofessional whilst explaining his work and I found he was very insecure doing his duties. I have made several attempts to contact podpoint but their customer service was very poor in fact no one answered my call at the end. I was-expecting that the podpoint team would contact customers to see if everything was okay following the installation. I wouldn’t recommend this company.

Phone calls with team very friendly. Installer very friendly. However disappointed that you send the money to pay for your home podpoint and then have to fill in a huge questionnaire with images and details!! I believe this should be done by an installer. Both myself and my family member had issues connecting the pod point to our wifi. We had to call email/tweet to get this fixed. The pod point was linked remotely afterwards. Maybe this should be done on the day of installation for convenience.

The guy who came to install the pod point was superb. Amazing customer service. However, the communication before the installation with the office was very poor.

Mixed experience Firstly Pod Point was not keen on installing the cable. They pushed this job to me. To get the job progressed I was forced to agree to install it myself. The first project manager (Toby) was not helpful at all, lots of wasted time was spent trying to get an installation date booked. Unfortunately, the first installer who came was unable to complete the job and I was told to buy a new higher amp MCB and install it myself and then rebook the installation. This was confirmed in an email from the Project manager. The instructions to replace the MCB proved to be incorrect, which was discovered when the 2nd installer came (Vishal - he was excellent). He arranged for Pod Point to order the correct part (in fact an RCBO - not sure why they made me buy and install it the first time) - he came and fit the RCBO a couple of days later with no hassle. Overall my experience with the first project manager and installer is one star. The 2nd project manager (Quin) and installer (Vishal) - were both excellent and would rate them 5 stars. So overall will rate the experience 3 stars

Physical installation was seamless and completed within a couple of hours. However, connecting the Pod Point charger to the internet to be able to interact with its smart features took several days and several emails will the PodPoint customer service to resolve. All working fine now, but this should have been a better experience.

The Technician arrived on time, was polite, explained everything to me. However when I attempted to charge my car, something wasn’t right. I phoned the company and the person I spoke to was able to rectify the problem at his end without having to send anyone out.

Painful pre-installation process but we got there in the end. The team appeared overworked and did not return phone calls. Electrical requirements were onerous and were somewhat contradictory and over the top - the view of my (very experienced) electrician - he felt they were reading from a script vs responding to specific questions and alternative wiring options. Final installation was very good and pain free.

Good Communication to start the process, booking installation slot was also easy. Bad Electrician who visited site did not clean up & left all rubbish onsite

The installer was on time, carried out the installation and cleaned up after themself. However, the charger didn't work as it wasn't quite set up properly.

The installer got on with the job quickly and without fuss but he failed to give any critical advice as to positioning the holster for the cable. As a result I chose the wrong side for it to be positioned and the key lock is difficult to access.My choice and therefore my fault but a bit of advice from an experienced installer would have saved me having to move the holster
