An appalling attitude to customer service, a faulty product, and weeks later I am still waiting to be provided with a charger that actually works.

I was warned about Pod Point but unfortunately had already submitted my deposit for survey. Weekss later they "refound" my application and arranged the survey. I was advised it was a non standard installation requirement which I was fine with, and that I would be provided a broken down cost to give me the option of sorting ground work costs myself. A week later, no report, just a chase to progress a 2000GBP order! Needless to say I declined.

We were not aware that we were on a looped supply, nor were we asked to check. The installation was not completed and we were instructed to contact the electricity distributors to separate the supply. I asked for our money to refunded but received no reply, despite numerous emails. We had to wait six months for the installation to be complete and even then the initial appointment was cancelled. Absolutely appalling service.

Left meter box in dangerous condition had to get electrician to resolve. Damaged cables and parts not attached inside meter box.

Pod Points' subcontractor who came to carry out the installation damaged my cooker and lights cables while drilling into the wall. They promised to sort it out but didn't turn up on the agreed day. Left a number of messages but no response to date. Very disappointed with the whole thing.

Awful communication from your company, long lead time to install date. Installer arrived late and didn’t clean up. A sorry excuse for a company. Cannot say enough bad things. What a sad experience, not that you care

Your installer turned up - informed me his van had broken down and then he proceeded to inform he did not have a spare fuse for my consumer unit (which I was told he would have when booking my installation) I then had to spend over an hour of my own working time to get the driver some Adblue for his van and also go to an electrical wholesalers to buy a fuse which he should have provided! I informed I was not happy and that this was a working day for me. He then fit the charging point and to be fair did a good job, but the handover and how to use, connect to wifi, how to turn off I got nothing from him, just a simple type your name there and sign in the box!!! Absolutely terrible experience and I emailed both Kim Pearson and Freddie Brownsmith of the experience and nobody has had the decency to come back with even an apology. I paid weeks and weeks upfront for this system to be installed, and you send a driver who cannot be bothered to put AdBlue in his vehicle or be bothered to turn up with the correct tools to do the job and leave a customer to go and buy these items for him, has to be in my top 3 of worse customer experiences and that is saying something. I would a appreciate a call or email from a senior manager explaining what has happened and how I get the most of the unit that you have installed, plus compensation for my time I spent trailing around after your engineer or I will be seeking legal advice and have you take the point out and expect a full refund plus cost damages for the time spent buying equipment and the holes etc in my garage wall. We have found the engineer very unfriendly. He left a lot of mess behind (I have pictures). He did not spend any time explaining. Just rushing through things with NO Demonstration (unlike what is mentioned on your website when I've bought the unit), just 'read the booklet'!!! He was pressuring me to sign. I really didn't like it. Just 'sign', 'sign' the iPad!!! Talking to my wife about the experience, now she is very worried and wonder if the job was done to high standard. We have young kids and she really wants to ensure that the installation is safe. How can we confirm that? Please help.

Extremely bad service/organisation. Was offered an installation date 2 days from when it was offered, unable to due to late notice with work. Offered a date almost a month later (december 18th), also interfering with work and the next date was a month after that. Took the 18th December date (8-11.30) and arranged it with work, had to take a half day unpaid leave. They called a week before to say they had to cancel it, but then worked it out so they could still do that date and time. Called at 8.30 on 18th to say they were cancelling. Rearranged for Tuesday 24th December - my partner had to take a day unpaid leave to be in. When he got here he was rude, complaining all the time and it wasn't an okay experience. Between us we are now 1.5 days out of pocket with no apology for any of the hassle. Very poor and I will not be recommending others to you, I'll advise them to go elsewhere. Anywhere else.

Faulty unit, not fixed nearly two months after installation and horrible customer service - avoid! My Pod Point solo was installed in November but was faulty from the first day. My initial interaction with customer services was good, they promised an engineer visit in a few days. This never came and since then phone and email support has been awful. Emails were ignored (the phone service asks you to email them) and the call centre staff told me they couldn't put me through to the engineering team and to wait for them to call me, which still hasn't happened. Avoid this company and buy a charger from someone else.

The sales personnel were very very poor. Not returning calls or emails. Had to get Volvo head office involved for any progress to be made. If they were not recommended by Volvo I would have ditched them at the start. No concern what so ever for customer satisfaction. On the other hand the installation side was excellent. The technician was polite, tidy and very professional. A pleasure to deal with.

Ive ordered a new EV which is coming in March. The dealer recommended Pod Point and had one on display, which the wife likes the look of. However getting hold of Pod Point to answer any questions via phone or email has been impossible. I’ve tried to call them on 3 separate days and the phone just rang. I then sent 2 emails, which I still haven’t received a reply. If this is the level of service before you place the order, can you imagine the after sale service. I’m completely put off doing anything with this firm. It’s a really shame. I’m sure they are caught out with growing pains, but Customer service is king always. With so many options out there, Pod Point needs to resolve this quickly.

The unit doesn't work. I've spoken to customer services 6 times . They have not resolved it. I'm waiting for a reply to my email and phone call today to get an engineer here. This is totally unacceptable

The after service is rubbish. I’ve left 4 messages about a fault in the last 3 weeks and still not been called back despite being promised that someone would get back to me. Terrible communication. The engineer who initially installed the unit was great and couldn’t have been more helpful. I think they must be overstretched.

I had 3 appointments cancelled and then once installed no cable even though phoned before ordered to clarify which podpoint and that included the cable

Since the charging point has been fitted my burglar alarm does not work. I have also now lost power to the light in my dining room. Whilst the engineer will say he didn’t touch those parts of the fuse board it cannot be coincidence that everything was fine until he fitted the charging point. I’m waiting for pod point to contact me to get it sorted. At the moment the lack of an alarm will invalidate my insurance. If I suffer any losses I will have to seek compensation from pod point. A claim will not be necessary if pod point resolve the issues they have created.

Pre contract Communication was slow unclear and inaccurate. Lots of terms and obligations were only made clear after money was taken and a contract formed. This is not acceptable. How the process works and what is involved should be clear first. The online process was awful and painful.
