Very poor finish. Also the installer left without the pod connecting to my app - so I have a charger but it isn't connected to my app. I emailed support 2 days ago but haven't had a response!

most difficult experience of my life you did everything to delay it and ad expense the engineer who came had the worst manners and approach to work i have experienced if I could give you zero I would

I am really disappointed overall with the service. Response times from customer service is dreadful and we were charged over £600 for ground work when the contractor stated he was being paid £220 for the work so the rest going to Podpoint. It was a tiny strip of grass that was dug up and relaid so I am really annoyed at this cost.

Pod was incorrectly fitted. Set up wrong and clamps put on wrong. The system totally drained my solar batteries and seems to have cost me in electricity charges. They had to send out another installer to fix it on the next day. Not impressed....

It was very easy and efficient. I only ordered on Tuesday night and it was installed Friday morning. Still waiting for the car so can’t say how well it works but service has been very good.

Communication is extremely poor. I was not contacted after paying for the product online on 5/7/22 until I had to call them 2 weeks later to enquire what was going on? It then took Podpoint 4 weeks after paying and contacting them myself to finally book the installation I paid for a 22kw, I’m still due a refund as I had a 7kw of point at the end. Still no refund and it’s now 19/8/2022

Poor experience throughout. Written communication and forms were slightly confusing. There were excuses made why pod point could not install the charger which resulted in a lengthy delay and me missing out on the grant (£350 i believe). All the reasons that were raised by Pod point were in-accurate and could have been closed very quickly. When quoted for the required ground works the costs were high/inflated as to what i arranged myself. The install was acceptable however brick dust left everywhere where holes were drilled and sealant of hole through external wall was poor

Had a pod point charger installed, didn’t work! Called the help line and they just kept saying about scheduled charging. Engineer finally came out an the installer hadn’t put the load clamp on the right cable! Hadn’t been able to use charger for almost three weeks and had to take a day off work as they insisted the car was here. The engineer who turned up to fix the fault arrived two hours before the scheduled appointment, luckily someone was in.

Installation man turned up on time seemed good installed in location agreed, all seemed good. But went to charge a couple of days later - not working - help over phone didn’t resolve but told man would be out within 48 hours. Next day email offering appointment 5 days later! Couldn’t make that so had to cancel - no alternative offered yet a day later - the 48 hours are up. Lucky to get one star!

The install was fine, and the engineer was very polite and helpful, however the Podpoint has had an error on it for 3 days now and is not working and no-one has been in touch despite me calling multiple times to chase for an update

I was given an appointment at short notice due to a cancellation nearby. This meant I had my charging unit much more quickly than expected. As an update, although the installation was problem free, I am having great difficulty obtaining the £350 Government Grant to which I am entitled, and it appears that Pod Point has failed to apply for this and are not being in the least bit helpful in resolving this matter.

The installation experience was horrific. Attached are a series of photos showing how the installation was left and obviously deemed acceptable by your team. We explained that it was a 300yr old cottage and he drilled through an old beam (twice in fact as you can see a misdrill!) and butchered the walls. The installer confirmed he would patch up the walls before leaving and he didnt as his filler 'had set'. The photos do not show either how the installer had no respect for the room, drilling over furniture and floors without dust sheets. We now need to source electricians, joiners and decorators to rectify the mess left- assume you will assist with the costs for this...

Not a very good experience at all. We were never notified about the install date! So when the installer arrived were not there to allow him access. He had to ring me as I was away on business and I had to contact my wife who then sorted him out.

Very stressful experience. Initial fitting was successful, first charging session worked then unit failed. Took over 3 weeks of bullying, including threatening to make them remove the unit, before repairs were carried out.

A total fiasco . I have never come across a business so badly organised and lacking in coordination at virtually every stage. It’s an experience I never wish to repeat and as a result I would never recommend PodPoint. All my issues are set out in email and phone correspondence much of which is on file. The only bright spot was the final installer Joe who deserves to be promoted to be CEO. .

From the moment I paid for my charger the service from PodPoint was appalling. An initial site survey, which was suppose to determine the details and cost of the installation across my garden resulted in almost no information. The quotation was simply a figure with no detail of the actual works, and unsurprisingly turned out to be wrong. When the installer arrived to carry out the work, he did not realise that groundwork was required, and therefore could not do the job. Even when the groundwork was finally agreed, changes were made subsequently by PodPoint without my agreement and they claimed that I had agreed verbally, which was untrue. When the groundworkers were supposed to be at my job they were actually sent to a different one and hence were half a day late to me, resulting in them having to come back the following day to finish the work. When they finally arrived they were unaware of the detail of what they were supposed to be doing as no schedule of work or plan had been drawn up. Now my charger has finally been installed, the app still isn't working 4 days later with no explanation from PodPoint as to why. All in all this was a calamity from start to finish and I would never recommend PodPoint to anyone as a result.

Appalling installation. Pod Point outsourced it to a lazy rude company that left it unsafe, podpoint then washed its hands; accepting no responsibility. Company returned, were aggressive, and implied I had damaged the installation. Not even an apology. Do not use PodPoint.

Pod point asked for a load of information on where and how, also send photos of where you want your cables to run, as to where you want your home charger fitted only to come up with…!!! We need to fit it there because it’s easier for us. 👎
