“Danny is a fantastic ambassador for PodPoint. I’m not talking your everyday electrician, this guy was on point and on brand throughout. His knowledge, deep and relevant, his attention to detail, faultless. The guy even measures the spaces between wire clips to create a aesthetically pleasing finish. Although very friendly he remained professional and comprehensive in his handover. If anything was to fault it was the support system behind Danny. He tried calling his office more than half a dozen times but they didn’t pick up.. @podpoint you should hire this guy direct. He can do any of my electric work anytime. Thank you Danny”

“Installation and Engineer excellent. Everything else since, poor. Very slow to answer the phone, then too busy to help. 3 days to respond. Previous reviews I read are about right, good product ( excellent engineer(subcontractor)), poor podpoint service.”

“Unit fitted is still not working fitted in the 23rd November fault from when fitted apparently all sorted and was working. So unplugged 2 days later on next use unit went to fault mode on unit. The pod point fitter came back to sort out but after testing everything it was found to be a faulty unit. Still awaiting any form of response as to when this is being sorted.”

“Nash (?) our fitter was extremely friendly, arriving early for our 8.00am Appointment. Spent just a couple of minutes reviewing our requested PodPoint Location. Then worked very hard installing, needing to talk to us only when he needed the Electricity turned off, then on again. He also cleaned the Elec. Cabinet, and the surrounding area. Our only slight issue was that he couldn't give us any help with the PodPoint App, as apparently they don't give the Training on it, which seems to us an important failing.”

“The installation engineer was very polite, competent and helpful. He explained that we didn't need any app to charge the car using this charger (it just works when you plug it in), but that we could use the car app to control when charging was done (to control costs) and the Pod Point app was really only needed for information purposes. The process of ordering was annoying as costs kept having to be added. Carrying out our own on-site survey was very very stressful, as we lost the first attempt when it was too large to load; there were also decisions to be made during the survey which we didn't really feel qualified to make (about the necessity for the surge protector for example). When Pod Point phoned to arrange the install date, their phone number came up as Penpoint on my mobile phone which meant I initially didn't pick up the call. I then got two different calls from Pod Point giving me different install times, but thankfully things went smoothly on the install date. The key lock seems quite flimsy. The different coloured lights on the charger, some of which flash and draw attention to the charger at night, seem a bit complicated and overdone. Charging the car has thankfully been successful.”

“After a no show of the installer I rang to arrange a further appointment. The customer service team couldn’t be more polite and helpful. The next morning Tony arrived. He apologised for the confusion on the previous day. He installed our pod, within the allotted time. Tony was considerate, polite, informative, checking with us at every stage. A clean and tidy workman apart from seeing the pod on the wall there was no mess left. Tony is a real asset to the company in our opinion.”
