The first engineer, Nial was professional and installed the first SOLO 3 POD from the commercial side as my installer phoned sick but could not complete the job due to technical /parts difficulty. The second engineer Dennis was excellent and returned after contacting POD POINT customer service, who were very responsive and gave fantastic customer service. This new POD works perfectly and I am delighted with the quality and POD Point app to allow charging for my Tesla at home.

The installation was problematic. A date was fixed for the instal and when the installer arrived he had not been fully briefed and was unable to undertake the work. After much communication Bob at head office kindly resceheduled for the following day. On that day the instal was completed smoothly although afterwards it took a lot of time to get the app to work and programme the podpoint. I was charged £77 for an extra metre of plastic trunking which was exorbitant. In fact the additional trunking was not used and so I have requested repayment of this sum.Overall the whole process was stressful and could have been much better organised.

The process was acceptable overall. The explanation of what would happen could have been clearer, especially regarding installation options. The installation is a bit untidy with cables crossing other cables/pipes. This was not discussed with me before installing as I was expecting no additional cables on display going to the pod point charger.

Installation went well, installer was great- however, the podpoint won’t charge at 7kw on a schedule charge on my Q4 E-tron. Been on some forums and apparently this is a well known issue to podpoint- and should possibly solved with a firmware update and upgraded printed circuit board, but clearly even though podpoint know the make and model of my vehicle they decided to just install it as is without letting me know that there might be problems. Now I either have to spend ages charging slow, let them try to sort the problem (who knows how long that will take) or exercise my right to cancel in the 30 day cooling off period and get a charger that will work!! Likely going for the latter. Morale of the story- don’t get a podpoint if you’ve got/are getting a Q4 E-tron

The guy who installed it was great, however customer service do not reply to e-mails. I ordered and expected a call to arrange installation which is advertised as 2-4 weeks. After a couple of weeks I sent an e-mail which was not answered. A week after that I called to find out that they had not reviewed my order, the previous 2 e-mails I had sent ( 1 was a query before ordering ) had been put in the "wrong que" internally so had not been responded to and as opose to apologising they moved on and to be fair did all checks for the install. It happened about 5 and half weeks after order so outside the SLA. The guy who installed it was great. Happy so far with the charger but the CS is far bellow any reasonable expectation.

Tony installed our PP charger this week and he was absolutely incredible! He was so warm, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. He went above and beyond with the installation and subsequent instructions and I wish every customer service was as good as his. I’d have no hesitation in recommending Tony and Pod Point to anyone and we are grateful to him for doing such a good job.

The installer was very good. The administration prior to the install, the communication and the final detail on what was required was poor. Installation due to this is incomplete

I found the whole experience with Pod Point Really Very Good. Pod Point were recommended to me by my employer having recently upgraded my company car to an all electric car. Not normally a fan of doing things all digitally but genuinely the emails, links within them and simple instructions to follow from Pod Point made it very easy to follow through the process from quote to installation & they notified me quickly of a cancellation so that the installation date (which i was anticipating to be 1 - 2 months due to the xmas and new year fast approaching) could be brought forward to before xmas. When the engineer arrived, i found him to be very personable, understanding and courteous to myself and my partner who were working from home to ensure we were not unnecessarily disrupted when he needed to turn off our electricy supply when completing the installation. Product looks great & talked through the basics by the engineer who was very respectful and patient when doing so, despite us having to stand in the rain - bless him.
