The delivery was on time and I was contacted on the day by Martin which was great. However when I unwrapped the tree it was huge, much much bigger than last year, with a serious lean to one side. The biggest problem was that the truck was too wide to fit into the Pines and Needles tree stand I bought two years ago meaning I spent my Friday evening attempt to thin the trunk with a saw and chisel! This was not easy as the bark was damp. It was still not possible to fit it fully into the base so it is rather precariously purched instead. Very stressful start to the Christmas decorations!

Last year my delivery arrived 3 hours late and this time 45 minutes...still late. I ordered a 9ft tree, 18" of which was the single vertical crown. For the first time I had to put the tree on a table. I have used Pines and Needles for 7 years now and I am considering changing next year. Disappointment increses each year

Tree ok excelt bent at the top - have had to straighten it risking it breaking. The tree was delivered ok in my absence but it was open already, without netting, and made an absolute mess of the walls in the hall etc dragging such a wide tree through the flat. Not good.

Our tree arrived just before noon, but the poor mini-tree was placed in a cardboard box, which was completely smashed, the content (tree, dirt and container) spilled in the box. Not impressed...

The first tree we received was just not very nice. We ordered a 7 foot tree and got a tree that was about 5 feet with a 2 foot branch sticking out of the top with almost nothing on it. Not full or a nice shape either. I can't imagine why this tree would be chosen as a 7 foot delivery if you care abut your product. I would have never chosen this tree. Waited the full 5 hour time block (8-1) for this. We wanted to exchange it which was met with a very cheerful response. Your telephone service people are lovely. The next day I had to change several appointments to stay home and wait for the tree exchange. Again the full 5 hours. I called around 12:30 and mentioned the delivery could not just show up at 1:00 as I had to leave at 1:00 and was assured by the driver he would be there in plenty of time. He arrived at 1:10 as I was leaving and wanted me to take delivery saying it would only take 5 minutes. I really was not trying to be difficult but I did not have 5 minutes. I was already late because I had waited for him and was pulling out as he arrived. I understand traffic is unpredictable but I just spent 10 hours of my time waiting (during a very busy season) for something I still don't have. 5 hour time blocks are just too long. Surely they have an idea of where you will fall in the schedule and could narrow it down a bit. The whole reason to use pines and needles is to take the stress, hassle and inconvenience out of getting a Christmas tree. It actually added a lot of stress and inconvenience to my Christmas season so I don't really see the point of the service. Thanks anyway though, your staff are all really nice and lovely.

Disappointed by condition of tree when it arrived. Needles everywhere and that was before I put it up and on an non-drop tree.

Tree arrived 40mins after latest delivery time. Not ideal but ok. \nBeautiful looking tree BUT a real sadness was at least a 1/4 of the tree was caked in mud which we spent 45mins trying to remove and haven't been very successful. Would never have bought this tree due to mud if we had gone to chose it. \nTree was not in netting so difficult to set up. \nThis was pretty disappointing given the price and good service we have had in the past.

Driver left the tree on the doorstep with my son. Didn't even offer to move it a further 6 inches into the hallway. Shoddy service.

Delivery of the tree was perfect. The driver wanted to deliver early and I was home so that ws fine. The tree is 7 ft but 1/3 of it at the bottom is bold, just some branches without needles at all! Also a big part of the bark is removed from one side so I would probably need to cut a part of the bottom so it won't dry out too soon. Please let me know what you can do to remedy this!!! Tree arrived on time and ordering process was easy. Tree stand works well. However the tree, a Nordman fir, is dropping needles everywhere (literally hundreds) and certain branches are brown. We have had to arrange for a new one to be delivered - phone respondent was very helpful - though waiting in again is inconvenient and I am just hoping we receive a healthy tree this time!

Great delivery service. \nPoor tree this year. Was tiny for a 6ft tree. Was more like a 4ft tree with a huge top. We may not buy one this way next year. Past 2 year's trees were great. Wide and full unlike this year.

The first tree was too small which I said would be ok but there was nowhere to place the star/angel so Mike very kindly changed it. They worked so hard to fit the tree I hadn't the heart to say it was the worst looking tree I've had in years, skinny and uneven growth..very disappointing. My daughter feels sorry for the tree so we'll make the best of it. The guys delivering it were fantastic though . Deirdre Allen

My order was not processed properly and I had to make several calls to ensure things were on track over a week later. I was also informed by a member of staff that the delivery fee would be waivered as delivery could not occur for several days. The information was much appreciated as it was my second order within 1 hour and the first person had said nothing. An American girl on staffing was wonderful, as was Bunty the warehouse Manager. Unfortunately though, my overall experience was not positive. Nice miniature trees, however.

Hello,\n\nThe delivery crew were excellent and friendly, as always (though my wife was disappointed that they weren't in kilts this year ðŸ). However, we ordered an 8 ft tree and although the tree delivered is lovely, healthy and is just under 8 ft, the top 25 inches are a bare spike with no branches at all. Indeed, the main body of the tree with branches extends only 40 inches from the floor, with stand affixed. The tree's girth is also very much in keeping with a small tree. In short, I feel like I paid for an 8ft tree and was given what amounts to a 5-6 ft tree at best. It's a shame, but I feel like your company can't be trusted to deliver within spec--I don't mind paying more for an 8ft tree, but I do want it to be a true 8 ft. Happy to provide a photo of the tree in question if it's helpful.\n\nKind regards,\n\nChristopher Traulsen

The tree is almost ok as is quiet empty on top of it. But mostly I was disappointed by the delivery. The tree is not straight in the stand and there are completely dry branches on the bottom of the tree that were left like that ... not even cut.
