Very easy to navigate website. Booking ok, but not like all other sites. Having to preliminary book & then wait for an email a bit weird, especially when the price is exactly the same! Also had to wait for over 24hours to get confirmation & didn't get confirmation of payment separately as soon as it was paid as with most other payments.

More of what I read about this company - paid 3 months in advance and then discovered almost no difference in price when booking an extra night directly and forced to double pay on departure because on petspyjamas' own admission, likely the maney we paid so far in advance hadn't been sent through to the hotel by the time we arrived. Poor service form customer service with calls and emails not responded to and bizarre claims when trying to move a claim on, such as 'accounts department has no phones'... Had to resort to starting a section 75 claim to get money back.

My experience of booking my hotel holiday break through PetsPyjamas was easy and friendly. I had seen the booking website when booking a dog-friendly cottage with one of the many companies I have used in the past but had not understood how different they are. As the booking process is more difficult when booking a hotel break with the many other aspects of the holiday to consider such as the room, the hotel's true attitude to your pets, facilities etc, you will need some direct contact with the establishment chosen. This is not always easy. I put my details into my search at my chosen hotel to find availability for the dates I wanted, and shortly afterwards one of the booking consultants (Angela) telephoned me to deal with it. I was a little surprised at this at first and felt a little pressured by this immediate contact, but I wanted this particular hotel for dates in July and I didn't want to miss out. The website had an exceptionally good description of its facilities, rooms and best of all, the forms to fill in about your pets, their needs and the benefits you get within the booking charge. They also explained where the dogs would be able to go within the building while visiting and all the extra benefits they would receive. Up to 3 dogs are allowed. I have two medium-sized, well-behaved dogs (although any dog can have its moments) and this information was accepted through the form about the booking details. This level of detail is really good to know. I was settled on this particular hotel from the outset as I know the area and the hotel although have never stayed there. I needed some questions answered about the location of two particular rooms which were described as being 'on the level of the car park', which I needed to be clarified. BI had chosen ground floor rooms (for the dog's benefit) and wanted some more detail. Angela suggested it would be useful to have one of these rooms as there is an exit to the car park from the annexe which would be useful for the dogs - just what I had been hoping for. I also had a question about the bathroom facilities. Angela, the person I had dealt with throughout was able to contact the hotel quickly to have any questions answered. It was the same with a problem I found we had with our initial booking dates. She came back with the availability of my new choice of dates promptly. I was then able to accept the booking and pay my low deposit - all by email. Great customer service.

Was a little confused about the booking process as I seemed to be dealing with more than 1 representative. I had to create an account so my wife couldn't see the trip as it is for our anniversary but do not appear to have been given a discount for my first booking

Very quick response following my initial enquiry with very good advice and guidance. Communication via 'phone, text and email so all bases covered with little chance off missing information. 'Communication' question which follows only permits one response, so have marked simply one. Also the response time question does not have a 1-2 hour option - which I would have used. Better questionnaire design needed if accurate data is required.
