“After a simple booking process last year we unfortunately had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. We could have taken a refund but opted for a gift certificate to use when we were able. This we did yesterday and again the booking was smooth and easy. We are now looking forward to our break in June.”

Dear Mrs Purr, Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to hear you liked the selection of hotels in our portfolio. When a booking is made the payment is authorised immediately but it isn’t actually taken by us at that stage, it is only held while we confirm availability with the hotel. We do need to make sure the correct room type is available, for example a dog friendly room, which can sometimes take a little time as the hotel has to check this manually.
