So far it has gone from bad to worse. You do not keep your systems updated. I booked Whitley Burrow for 17 to 19 May 2024. You sent me one million confirmation emails, but when trying to contact you to tell you that Mrs. Davies, the owner of the cottage had contacted me to say that her cottage was not available and that she had told you so, I could not speak to anybody. Where is your customer service? I paid almost 300 pounds in full and there is not even a phonecall from you. I would give you -5 if I could.

Terribly disappointed - given quote which was paid for, only to be told by PetsPyjamas that a mistake has been made so cancelled my booking. They then tried not to issue me a full refund even though it was their fault. Still waiting for funds to be returned 3 weeks later.

Very dissapointing. I booked two rooms for two nights. Paid the quoted amount and recieved confirmation for two rooms for two nights, only to be told the next day that I was undercharged and had to pay another £730! We then had to cancel which was very dissapointing for my daughters and I.

Booking process was great but to receive a welcome gift - 'x' amount off your first booking after the first booking was made kinda stings a little. Did raise this but had no reply as yet and when this review email arrived what else am i to do but leave my 2 star review here! Like most of my school reports - could do better!

Dirty, shabby and dated room. PetsPyjamas couldn't care less. Customer service keep passing the buck to the hotel even though they have had sight of the photos. In my opinion PetsPyjamas totally ruined our holiday and are not taking any responsibility. Once they've got your money you're history.

It is clearly said at every turn on the website “pets always go free” or “dogs always go free”. I recently made a booking with Pets Pyjamas for my husband, myself and 2 dogs. The advert for the hotel said the room could “accommodate 2 people and one dog”. I made a call to say my dogs are both tiny so would they accept 2 ( plus I have accessibility needs that I needed to check). All was confirmed as being as I needed, including the two dogs. I booked. As the hotel was in Isle of Wight I phoned direct to ask if they did discount for ferry as most do. During the conversation the hotel obviously knew it was two dogs and commented that I only paid for one and the other would be £20 per night. I phoned Pets Pyjamas and told them. They informed me that their terms only include one dog. This is NOT what is stated all over the website. “DOGS ALWAYS GO FREE” is not just one dog. I cancelled my booking as another £80 for a 5ib dog, non shedding of hair, sleeps in a cage, does not interfere with other guests and is 100% well behaved. I was not willing to pay an unexpected £80. Pets Pyjamas refunded me in full, maintaining that they didn’t tell me there was a charge as they didn’t know there were 2 dogs. They did ! They have ignored and not answered my comments on the fact that the website says dogs always go free. I sent them pictures of the website. They just quote their terms. I spoke to them twice, they knew there were two dogs and they never mentioned one must be paid for. I would never use them again. Their website makes misleading claims, and they should not do this. The good thing is I have booked a hotel direct now, and it was a good deal cheaper than on Pets Pyjamas website, plus I don’t have to find £80 extra ! So if you have 2 dogs beware as you will find you suddenly have to pay a very high price for the second. It’s nonsense !

Unfortunately after having several lovely experiences with Pets Pyjamas hotels , it is time to say goodbye. The last hotel was a dump and we booked out after one night. However , despite numerous phone calls, emails and even a letter sent to the head office, I have been ignored. I don't mind if the money refund is not forthcoming but I take exception at not being responded to. I will deal with hotels directly myself in future and not waste my time trying to get a response about a complaint.

The hotel was expensive but we were encourage by petspyjamas who sent us a new deal so we went with it. Horrible experience! the room we were given was tiny, no view from the small window, just a roof to look at, overbearingly hot room no way to reduce the heat. Everything stunk of smoke from the open fires. Food was terrible. But also not much room for the dog outside. PetsPyjamas over priced the stay, which was already not worth the money. Very upset and angry. We ended up leaving a day early because it was not restful at all. Such a waste of money! 2nd time I’ve used the service but I can no longer recommend you.

Booked through Pets Pyjamas but unfortunately had to cancel. Told we would get the deposit back minus 10% admin which I agreed to. Told the contract is, refund could take up to 28 days but usually less time. It has now been 7 weeks and we are still waiting. Sent numerous emails with no response and phoned several time, leaving a message on the answer phone Asking for them to ring back but again no response. I am feeling very frustrated as they can take money off you straight away but won’t give you the refund back and ignores any correspondence. I thought 28 days was excessive having to wait but 7 weeks with no response is unacceptable. Please do not use this company as they are definitely unprofessional.

Booking site very easy to use and looks great. But when you have to contact the organisation by telephone they don’t return calls. Email they answer, but haven’t understood the request, when try to clarify they don’t bother emailing back.

Rudeness and calls cut and took months to reply to formal complaint to get little explanation or help or apology just told they have issues with phone lines and that’s that. Asked to escalate this and actually investigate and Latrice Drackett says back she is the manager and the ‘tickets closed’ I can see why this company is getting so many bad reviews. Under staffed and rude and loosing bookings as people can’t actually use the system or phone in!

Please accept a suggestion for your website that you don't advertise dogs go free to entice people to book if they are going to be given a room in the car park! We didn't use our stay and left the same day. We were so disappointed using your company for the first time! And treating ourselves to a weekend away to get through mothers day having recently lost my mum. The Golden Fleece at Thirsk left something to be desired? We arrived around 1pm and were told that we couldn't check in until 3pm we didn't mind and said we would have some lunch only to be told that the chef had closed the kitchen because they were very busy and very unhelpfully we were told they were the only place that accepted dogs inside! We ate a sandwich in the market square until it started to rain and decided go for a car ride. We arrived back at 4:30 to be given a room off the car park which was cold, small, miserable and dirty. The windows in both the bathroom and bedroom had been left open probably because it smelled like someone had been smoking in it. We close the window in the bedroom, and looked to warm the room up, the radiator was obviously broken as there was a fan heater and mobile oil radiator in the room.! I believe that the decor was attempting to be shabby chic but it was just shabby! The bathroom and toilet were dirty. We have always said that our measure of standards is never to accept less than we have at home and the same goes for our dog. So we cancelled the meals we had booked and waited to see the receptionist who was doubling as a waitress and handed our keys back and said we were leaving. She did ask why? And stated she was sorry and would raise the issue with housekeeping!! Pets PJ'S, I would suggest you check out your hotels properly and charge for dogs instead of offering dogs go free and that way customers get what they expect and what they see in the photographs on the website. Going home for a clean warm house, bed and bathroom for us and our dog was worth having to lose £280.00. We won't be recommending or using it again! We have booked direct with hotels that take dog/s and have never felt like we were 2nd clas, however we've always paid for our dog, which we would happily do to ensure some standards and feel as relevant as customers without a dog. Very very disappointing.!

Well firstly it was a nightmare booking with yourselves, 1st well couldn't use the vouchers so had to contact you direct and you had to book it for us, that was the 1st mistake, while walking around on our day of arrival we received a email and phone call say we had no where to stay due to a fault your end with the booking system so we were unable yo stay at the Thomas lord,and you were moving us to another place to stay called the running horse or we could counsel and come home, we were not whiling to lose out as we were on holiday so had to take the new booking, this turned out to be 22 miles away and 40 minutes drive from the original destination, we chose the Thomas Lord as it was close to friends were wanted to see but not we were 40 minutes further away were unable to meet up with them in the evenings,

More of what I read about this company - paid 3 months in advance and then discovered almost no difference in price when booking an extra night directly and forced to double pay on departure because on petspyjamas' own admission, likely the maney we paid so far in advance hadn't been sent through to the hotel by the time we arrived. Poor service form customer service with calls and emails not responded to and bizarre claims when trying to move a claim on, such as 'accounts department has no phones'... Had to resort to starting a section 75 claim to get money back.
