“Lynda was very pleasant and helpful. Making the booking was easy and straight forward. I wasn't able to make the booking on line as it was showing there was no availability on the room type we wanted, but Lynda sorted this out and I was able to book.”

“One thing I woudl like to see is that the booking confirmation actually desribes the room as per the room details Idescribed on the web site. I booked a super king double double room at a higher cost but the confirmation does not confirm this and just says double room. This would be a nice feature so as to give confidence that we will be getting the superior room we have paid for.”

“Cancelled our booking a week before we were due to go, no explanation or call to us to explain why. Dreadful service as cannot contact them at weekends either having got the notification at 5pm on a Friday”

Dear Mr Linnitt, Thank you for your email, and I am sorry for the disappointment and inconvenience caused by the cancellation of your booking. Unfortunately, we experienced an unexpected operational issue with the hotel which we initially hoped could be resolved without affecting upcoming reservations. As soon as it became clear that the issue could not be rectified in time for your stay, we contacted affected customers, including yourself, to advise that the booking could no longer be honoured. I appreciate that receiving this notification shortly before your arrival date, and late on a Friday, was frustrating. We certainly did not intend to leave you without sufficient notice, and we understand your concerns regarding the lack of weekend contact availability. Please accept our sincere apologies for the disruption caused to your travel plans. The delay in communicating was solely because we were actively working with the hotel in the hope of avoiding cancellations altogether. Once we knew this would not be possible, we issued notifications as quickly as we could. We regret that your experience fell below expectations and appreciate your feedback.
