“After a simple booking process last year we unfortunately had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. We could have taken a refund but opted for a gift certificate to use when we were able. This we did yesterday and again the booking was smooth and easy. We are now looking forward to our break in June.”

Dear Mrs Purr, Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to hear you liked the selection of hotels in our portfolio. When a booking is made the payment is authorised immediately but it isn’t actually taken by us at that stage, it is only held while we confirm availability with the hotel. We do need to make sure the correct room type is available, for example a dog friendly room, which can sometimes take a little time as the hotel has to check this manually. “Very easy booking experience, the travel consultant Lynda Kitt was extremely courteous, professional and efficient. She was also very knowledgeable about the package. As promised she held our booking at the agreed price and ensured we were 100% happy with the booking before she ended the telephone call. I would not hesitate to use petspyjamas in the future for all of our staycation bookings.”

“I really struggled to understand the listing for the White Hart in lewes. It seemed to be omre expensive for "B&B with tummy rubs" thant the "gourmet getaway". Whilst i was trying to understnd it - my wife and I were looking on different devices at the same time - the prices were changing before our eyes.”

The B&B with Tummy Rubs rate is linked to the hotel’s best available rate, which is dynamic and can change in real time depending on demand and availability. That’s why you may have seen prices moving while viewing on different devices. The Gourmet Getaway, on the other hand, is an exclusive package we’ve negotiated directly with the hotel. It includes added value extras, such as dinner and an arrival drink, so although it may sometimes appear similar or even lower in price, it’s actually a fixed package rather than a fluctuating room rate.
