“Arrived a day late but the part was perfect and a good price”

“I ordered a rear view mirror for my van and got about four email replies with quotes, plus one telephone reply. Most were about £30, but one was only £19. The mirror is in good condition and fits perfectly. Obviously I chose the £19 one!”

“The concept of partsgateway is good, using a car registration to make sure the parts are correct. However I ordered a door handle for my Peugeot 107. The first supplier supplied door handle with the incorrect colour and the second supplier, whilst charging a premium price supplied a badly scratched and poor condition product. So my experience was to say the least not pleasurable.”

“Took forever in the delivery (and delivery was not even free). They sent me the wrong part as well. The website and ordering process is stuck in 1990s tech! I still have the wrong part as they won’t reply back or provide refund. Avoid..”

“I ordered a window regulator for my 2000 VW golf. The garage who tried to fit the part said it was the correct part, but it had been altered, so couldn’t use it. He had to source another window regulator. Contacted Parts Gateway and asked him to speak to my mechanic to explain why it couldn’t be used and he didn’t bother to call him. I lost my money and had to dump the window regulator. Would have been very expensive to return the part due to the size. I only used this service as a last resort as the garages said VW don’t make that part any more for that model. I knew it wouldn’t be easy !”
