“Sadly I had to send the shoes back as the rocker is too strong (why has everything got rockers now?) Northern Runner however, are very good. Small, friendly, knowledgeable, non corporate. If they do feel able to help me walk my shoes need to be: Neutral Lowish drop - 8mm or less No strong rocker Not too flexible Wide ish (the ones I returned are a little too wide) If this sounds desperate, it's because it is. But I know Northern Runner are full of knowledge about their subject and I live in hope. In the meantime, if you need shoes, this is where you should go.”

“First impressions matter. My first online order with Northern Runner in Feb 2026. I'm pretty sure that it is the fastest dispatched & delivered online order I've ever received on normal/standard postage. On top of this, the price was the best online. I wish I had used them above all others years ago. Impressive all round.”

“Returned a pair of Brooks Ghost 17s due to fit issues and the refund was processed really quickly, no hassle at all, which I appreciated. The only downside was having to cover the return postage myself. A prepaid returns label would make the experience truly stress-free and would definitely encourage me to shop again with confidence. Overall, good customer service and just that one area to improve.”
