“Since 2012 I have been wearing New Balance footwear due to bunions and later had a bit of bone shaved off. These were models 624 for walking in cities and 978GT boots for hiking; both in 4E, extra fitting. However my feet further developed different pains from 2024. Through Internet search and self diagnosis by watching podiatrists on You Tube tutorials, discovered I should try Altra and Topo Athletic shoes due to their anatomical toe box designs. Altra has limited models with wide fitting. That reduced my search to Topo Atheletic as this brand has more models available with wide fitting. More detailed study of Internet pages pointed me to select Ultrafly for the stability design. Continued search pointed me to Northern Runner due to the wider availability as compared to other retailers. Tried the shoes at home and feels good so far but am searching for longer laces so as to use runners knot with the shoe because I found the standard laces provided are few couple on inches too short for easy knotting. Standard laces are ok for casual walking to the shops but if I want to fast walk, the heel feel slightly loose but a half size smaller shoe would be too tight, hence search of slightly longer laces.”

“Had a very good experience with NorthernRunner and would definitely buy from them again. I ordered some HOKA trainers size 5 which I loved but due to me not thinking about recent arthritis in my right food causing my foot size to change I returned the size 5 for size 5.5 which were perfect. I have to say the whole process of sending back was easy and got my replacement trainers within 4 days. Very impressed. Thank you”
