“Very disappointing experience. The shoes I ordered were not in stock or delivered on time when I paid extra for quick delivery. Also the packaging was pathetic for shoes at this cost.”

“No problem with Northern Runner.... Just very disappointed with the item. Bought these to give me comfort on the coast to coast walk. Meant to be for wide feet, wide toe box, all day comfort..... But they were not right for my feet. Ended up with blisters on toes and inner heel.... The width was hurting as I was walking and made me walk backward which led to quad spasms.. Couldn't finish the Coast to Coast... Had to be picked up. So disappointed. The trails will wait.. You just don't know until you try out the shoes and sadly these didnt work for my feet.”

“The toe socks i have purchased are not what they have been hyped up to be! I walked 30 miles and had bad blisters on my little toes on both feet by 15 miles!”

“Sent me a wide fitting in error for order No.WEB314740 , so I sent an email on the 1st April requesting they cover the cost of return postage as it was their error after all. Yet to receive a reply as of today the 10th April. They don't answer their phones, but I left two voice messages where their messaging service advises it's better to send an email, rather than leave a phone message, as they'll aim to get back in 24hours!!! Yeah right. I think its better I don't ever deal with them again after this. Leave it to you to decide whether you should. You've been warned!!!”

“Bought Brooks Ghost series for years. Same size every time. Stupidly took these away with me before trying out and had to wear them and they're too small. Complete waste of money. Will only buy from shops now.”

“I ordered Altra VIA Olympus 2 trainers on the recommendation of my podiatrist as I have been having difficulties with my feet. These trainers might be wide but it feels like walking on stilts! They also lift my feet at a weird angle - I can only walk very slowly in them and almost immediately had pain in my hips and lower back. I usually walk all the time but these trainers are unusable”

“This company the thief they send me wrong shoes I returned the shoes back and it’s been two weeks. They didn’t refund my money so be careful who you’re buying for they don’t respect customer.”

“I ordered trainers on 19th Feb. Royal Mail lost them and getting tracking info was a nightmare. Northern Runner seemed to be on the case and dispatched another pair…to the wrong address. I pointed this out and they said they’d fix it. I’ve just had another dispatch note and it’s for the same wrong address AGAIN! Now it’s 6th March and no trainers. I will not be using again and want a refund”

“Great service, no issues and would definitely use again, however, I bought (amongst othe things) the OMM mitten. Utter garbage, better to wrap your hand in a duster. Feels cheap, zero warmth (even over 2 x pairs of gloves) and the mitten covers are no better. Live and learn!”
