“Excellent service from Northern Runner. My shoes arrived within a day of placing my order. Sadly I had to return as the fit was not quite right but was swiftly refunded. I'll certainly recomend and will shop with them again.”

“Brilliant service. Fast shipping and fast returns too. Bought 2 pairs, sizing issue and return was also done promptly on the second pair. When I emailed NR I got a swift reply. Much better service than buying different from larger manufacturers.”

“I recently bought a pair of Altra Timp trail shoes on line. They arrived promptly but unfortunately were a bit too narrow for me. I emailed Sales for advice and got a quick & helpful reply. So I’ve ordered another different pair and returned the Altras. Again the return was straightforward. So all in all a good service and I’d certainly use Northern runner again.”

“Fit well but quality of build/materials is a bit disappointing. The plastic film that the brand logo is printed on the side of the shoe wasn't glued properly and has come apart even before wearing them outside. I've used superglue to stick it down and finish off the shoe.”

“Really helpful team when asking questions by email. Not always obvious how a shoe might fit (I have a high instep) but the team are really knowledgeable and give you plenty of options. I didn't opt for the recommendation they made, however, it did give me a few other options to consider. They always keep you informed when your shoes are out for delivery and I was very pleased with the Ultraventure 4 Womens Trail Running Shoes (Purple/Dark Teal) I recently received. I can't buy this brand easily on the High Street and they were recommended by my podiatrist so I've been glad to have found Northern Runner for shoes. This is the second pair I've bought from them and I'm very happy with their service.”

“Have been my ‘go to’ for running shoes for quite a while now, namely because they usually have my preferred brand (Altra) in stock and are prompt to dispatch them (always useful when I’ve left it a little too long to replace my old ones in advance of a race I’ve entered!). Also very good in exchanges when I’ve decided to try a different style and subsequently discover after trying them on that I should have stuck with my tried and trusted one!”
