“Great shoes but 2nd pair i got was also faulty….”

“My boots arrived promptly , I Loved them, but one was a size 5 and the other one a size 7. Sent email but didn’t get a reply for 4 days. Moda in pelle was requesting that I send photographic evidence. Why? It was not my fault they were the wrong size, in my original email, I had asked if they could send a new pair to my local Moda in pelle shop to exchange the odd pair.. It would have been so simple.”

“Well truth is not too happy,laces had rust marks on..really not acceptable…but I took these on my hols,I can’t wear them.”

“I returned the boots as they were too big. The customer service was awful and they took ages to refund my money. I had to get my bank involved to get the refund back on my card.”

“The trainers were impossible to actually get on due to the tongue and no laces and the back dug into my heel. Bad design .Also I had to pay over £9 to send them back recordered delivery ,even though it was initially free delivery on buying them !!!! Not Cool .”

“I ordered a pair of shoes. It was nice, but too big. I took it back to the Bexleyheath shop. They refused to take it back, because I did nkt have the return form with me. I had to return it via Royalmail and pay over £5 for the return. I am very disappointed.”

“I've been a long standing customer as their styles are always sexy, stylish and funky; but with recent purchases the sizes have been out by a full shoe size which is annoying. It's expensive to return with no free returns service and the closure of so many physical stores making it difficult to return or exchange. I hope a revision of UK manufacturing is made.”

“The delivery was good but I have had to return the shoes I ordered and am still waiting for a refund 10 working days after I sent them back, refunds shouldn't take this long these days... disappointed...”

“Loved the patent / quilted wellie boots, but I discovered that the international size of 41, isn't a size 8 ...in the uk...it's a size 7 1/2, so I had to return them as they were a tight fit : ( So far, I have rated Moda in Pelle [although I love your shoes!] as a rating of 2 .... as I think you should have addressed this sizing problem...a 41 isn't an 8”

“The design and quality looked great but they were all far too narrow. I returned them to one of your shops and the staff were friendly and helpful but said the loafers were all narrow and not really suited to older people as their feet get wider. Shame!”

“Shoes were beautiful but I am a size 8 which is a 42 not a 41. Very disappointed that the 8/41 were too small.”

“Shoes very narrow and leather stiff and inflexible. Had to pay to return, will not be ordering from Moda in Pelle again. Hard to unsubscribe as well from alerts and emails.”

“Ordered boots which arrived on time but were too small. I returned with Evri using the Moda returns service. The boots haven't been received by Moda but customer service wouldn't help and told me to go back to Evri, however, Evri consider Moda the customer so I have lost £100”

“While shoes and boots are generally of good quality, on this occasion I had a problem which resulted in a nasty cut to my thumb. The returns process is not fit for purpose & I find it ridiculous that I have had to wait 3-4 weeks for a refund.”

“Online is problematic as sizing is difficult to gauge…the shop staff where very efficient and helpful..the refund process was very elongated”

“My boots were damaged and I found returning them was going to be expensive. You did offer a 10% discount which I accepted but I still have a pair of faulty boots at not a greatly reduced price.”

“Up till recently, I had never returned anything to Moda in Pelle. The item I ordered was not as described. The returns refund process is frankly diabolical. They receive the item without incident and then procrastinate the refund. They say it takes 10 working days, utter nonsense, I have had to call once again and now they say it will now take a further 5days. They received the return on 15th August. Not sure if I would ever order from them again because of this.”
