The customer service is slow, a bit unorganised procedure but overall ok, hence the 2 stars. The quality however … who wants shoes which are claiming to be genuine leather, put up a price for one but are all plastic? I don’t. Good for chunky feet and ankles I guess but both pairs of trainers which were supposed to be “very neat” were just big&lumpy.

Order process quick and simple. Returns have to pay postage and took over 3 weeks for a refund. Emails to customer service helpful however could take up to 5 days for a reply

The shoes I was sent were clearly unwearable. They could not have been checked before delivery. It then took several emails before I could return them and then I was told they had not been returned. Eventually I got a refund when I really wanted a replacement! Unfortunately not a great experience.

Ordered two pairs of trainers in my normal size. The laces on the white trainer were dirty and the other trainer was exceptionally narrow. Both returned and was offered a discount on the next order. Next white trainer had marks and laces again were dirty. The lovely blue trainers were painful to wear. So sadly both trainers returned. Customer Service was amazing both via phone and in store.

Ordered a pair of shoes priced £47 in sale and was charged £87 ... returned the item (cost me £12 todo a tracked return as I am not near a store ) and I still have not received my money back. They also sent me an email to say my order for another pair of shoes had been dispatched when I didn't even have an outstanding order. I think their account and ordering system is rather confused . Shoes are beautiful quality but not sure I would order online again

Nothing wrong with the sandals, but I paid extra for next day delivery and it took 3 days meaning I didn't have them in time for an event I had wanted them for. Moda in Pelle passed the buck to the courier, Evri, and said it wasn't their (MiA's) responsibility to make sure the goods came on time. I disagree - my contract was with Moda in Pelle and I paid THEM for next day delivery, not Evri, therefore it IS their responsibility.

The trainers were hard and uncomfortable but I was prepared to wear them at home to soften them up. After 4 wearings the seam at the back split open. Returned them on 17th July, it's now 26th and I have still had no refund and have been told it will be 10 more days. Totally ridiculous, this is the 21st century. I get refunds from other companies in 2 or 3 days. Will never purchase from Moda in Pelle again. One positive is the good communication and help I have had from Carys in customer service.

Very pleased with my shoes but sadly the delivery to wrong address, requiring to complete form to confirm I had not received, chasing this up, then re-ordering & not receiving as re-order had not been processed correctly & chasing up again meant the whole experience of buying & receiving my shoes took over 4 weeks.

My review balances dreadful product with competent customers service offered by Moda. I am astonished about the lack of quality control - I ordered 5 pairs of shoes in June 2024. One pair - my fault for not checking (buying from Moda in PELLE I expected leather) turned out to be plastic, one pair turned out to be wrong size in wrong box, one pair wrongly stitched and tongue popping out constantly, one pair clearly a reject from another customer as heals were squashed, one pair slipping off and leather lining of left shoe squashed under toes. Absolutely unacceptable from company commanding such prices. I have, however, had good experience with their customer service. Quite frankly with product so poor Moda needs good customer services. I will never attempt to buy anything else from this company.

Lovely-looking trainers, I was sorry to have to return them as too small. The largest size is given as EU41/UK8 but unfortunately an EU41 is rarely an UK8, it’s more commonly an UK7. It certainly was much closer to UK7 in this case.

The shoes/sandals and bags are good quality but unfortunately the delivery times are awful. Sadly I return my items as took three weeks to arrive and currently waiting for refund. I like to support British companies but delivery times are woeful.

I have owned a pair of Moda in Pella trainers for a couple of years and have been delighted with them. I recently ordered another pair in the same size and they were an inch shorter in length and it cost me £12 to return them. I will not be placing any more orders until your returns policy changes. Most upmarket companies provide free returns.

Great quality genuine leather shoes. The leather is soft and comfortable. However, after only a few days the heel came off on one of them. Very disappointed

I bought a pair of "Gianni Black Porvair" assuming that they would be leather, for many reasons. These included that the product description didn't say what the shoes were made of, and the company is called "Moda in pelle" (translates as "fashion in leather") and the price was expensive. When they arrived, I found out they were faux leather and asked to return them (which was within my rights). When I explained the reason for return, the customer service advisor was very snooty with me, telling me that "Porvair" is fake leather - inferring that I was the idiot for not knowing that. (I assumed "porvair" was part of the name, like "Gianni" as I had never heard of it before.) I mentioned to the advisor that the description does not specify that these are not leather and asked if they could recommend adding that... they seemed wholly uninterested and three months later the description reads exactly the same as when I bought them, for some other poor customer to be duped in the same way. The shoes looked great, but the customer service came across as condescending. (P.S. I did eventually find the definition through a "materials glossary" on the Moda in Pelle site. If you need a materials glossary, then this should be a glaring hint that perhaps "Porvair" is not enough to let the customer know that these are not leather, and it would help to say so in the product description too.)

It not evening real leather, after first time wearing this it got a lot of wrinkles. Every time I wear it with white socks color come off from inside the show. I need to throw away my socks because black/dark blue color doesn't comes off. Not worth money.

The service was very good and good sale but the shoe sizes need more working to translate into UK sizes. On your sizing chart the sizes are UK but the shoes I ordered didn't fit at all - were very small. This was very disappointing and has put me off buying from you again because I can't afford the £10 postage fee to send them back every time they dont fit and you have no stores in London.

Ordered online however the trainers that came were not brand new. Returned them to a store and was told they had probably been picked at a store and possibly been out on display and tried on several times. Got a refund (which took 10 days) and went elsewhere.

This is about the delivery service rather than the product. Bought some trainers in the sale, for home delivery as disappointingly 'collect from store' was not available. The Evri delivery went wrong and my order didn't arrive but I had a photo of the delivery of someone else's door receiving the parcel. We were unable to identify the address but it wasn't ours. I did get a refund after having to sign a declaration that I had not received the item, but it was not a good shopping experience, very disappointed. I have since bought a different pair (as the original ones were sold out in my size), it cost me more and an extra cost for delivery as I decided to go for next day delivery to try to avoid a repeat of the issue. Pleased to say these have now been delivered. I would like to add that Mode in Pelle is my favourite brand as the fit and styles are good for me and the sale is always good.
