Do not buy your bike here if you want it anywhere in the near future. I waited for 2 months to get my bike. And when i finally got it, it had the worng handlebars on it hand som smaller transport damages as well. I contacted mango to get the right handlebars sent to me and they once more sent the wrong ones! I must say the the bike is okey quality for the price but not ant more than that. It´s better to buy somwhere else!!!!

First thing is you got my name wrong when sending me the request to write this review, however you did send me an email apologising for this. With regards to the bike I cannot fault it, nice smooth ride and good components for the price. Where you did let me down was on the customer service side, the bike was not delivered on time, I had to call 3 times and spoke to a different person each time who knew absolutely nothing about my order. In the end I ended up asking to speak to the MD, who did get things moving. I was then told that I had to be at home to SIGN for the bike as it was a "secured delivery", to my surprise I found the bike in a box leaning up against my garage door, no knock on the door and no signature. I doubt that I will get a response with regards to this review, I didn't even get a courtesy call when I complained about the so called "secure" delivery. Simon Keay

I wanted to buy a replacement chain for my Mango recently, but couldn't find anything on the website. After 2 days of calling and trying the online chat facility, finally got through online to be told that chains were for sale and that the online situation would be rectified. This was 2 weeks ago - just checked on their site and still no chains. On my third saddle - first one snapped mid-ride! Original tyres did not last long either. My wife was looking at a Mango but after the recent (lack of) support, she's looking elsewhere.

Hi Derek, I'm really quite surprised that you didn't get through to us during 2 days calling (unless it was the weekend?) Our phone line is often fairly busy but an email will always get a swift reply. Can you get in touch with our Customer Service so that we can sort you out with the correct chain and talk about your other problems?

We bought a Mango Point AR at the end of past December with these issues: Problems derived from pre-shipping assembly: - The chain was incorrectly closed. The locking pin was out of place, so the chain was partially open (check the picture). More than a failure in the drive transmission, it's quite unsafe to ride with a chain in that condition. - The brakes had been attached in place but they hadn't been set up. There was no brake performance at all. I know that disc brakes need some use to bed in and increase their performance, but that is imposible to do when you pull the lever till the end and the reduction of speed is barely noticeably. As you can understand, this is a big issue regarding the safety of the bike. Problems derived from the lack of proper protection of the bike for transport: - Drop out hanger was bent, which is causing shifting malfunction of the rear gearing - Front disc rotor was bent, so the disc makes a metallic sound every lap - Rear rim slightly untrue, but this is the least of the problems. I sent an email to Mango and they quickly reply and send a box with the following material: - A new disc brake - A new chain - A new Tiagra rear derailleur, instead of a drop out hanger Now that the bike has been fixed, my wife is happy with it and she has done over 600km with no problems. In general I think Mango can make great bicycles for the money but they need to put more attention to the assembly and packaging. I hope the company improves, offering well-rounded bikes for a reasonable price.

I bought a Point R Sora last year. I love the bike and it is now my daily ride as well as doing weekly time trials on it at my local cycling club. I bought the bike for three reasons: I really like the frame design, the price and the colour (I chose electric blue). The only criticism I have is the wheels the bike was supplied with. I noticed after a couple of rides that the spokes creaked and were all loose. On taking the wheels to a bike shop to be trued, I was told that they were fitted with the wrong sized spokes and were effectively a right off. I subsequently bought new wheels and the difference was very noticeable. I appreciate that cheap wheels keep the overall cost of the bikes down, but I think better quality control before the bikes are despatched would be of value to customers. I definitely would consider buying another Mango bike, but I would also have to consider the cost of additional wheels if the ones supplied were not up to standard.

Bike is nice and light, came well packaged and in good condition. Colours are as bright as ordered ???? love the bike. Tires seem to get punctured quite easily however, on my second tube in 6 months. Bull horn handle bars are great

I'm really impressed with my Mango bike - it rides and looks great! Was really easy to complete assembling and even came with a bell, which is a great touch. The only thing that soured my experience is that the order itself was about 2 weeks later than I thought it would be. I only discovered this myself after calling a few times so Mango could be better at communicating this to their customers. However, they were kind enough to discount the delivery fee though. Would recommend, but only if you're flexible on a delivery date.

Great value for money. Disc brakes, carbon forks, 105, all for under £750 :)

Really nice bike! Rides smooth with the occasional ticking sound when pedalling. Nice old school design!! If I was to change anything about the fixed gear bike, I would make the handle bars a lot more narrow. Apart from that I've had a great experience with the bike.

Absolutely love my bike! It's exactly what style I wanted and amazing quality compared with price - I've had no issues with it and rides brilliant! Could not recommend another brand more highly for anyone looking for a single speed! It's perfect for uni :)) (and I always get compliments on it)

I'm loving my minty monty it's really different to my full suspension marin. So still getting used to it. To only thing I've changed is the pedals to clipless and taken brakes off.

I love my mango bike. Simply put, one of the best young British cycling companies right now. It's a pleasure to ride, well made and easy to maintain. Very smooth ride and adequately robust with just enough features to love it without making it over complicated. Only constructive criticism would be that once I had tried their single speed/fixed bike I considered getting a AR as well. It looked like a great value bike but I would have liked a few more colour ways to choose from other than the offered 4. When their range of colour ways are extended on this product I will 100% be buying another Mango bike! Love my bike mango, thanks!

400 miles down the road on my Mango Point AR and I'm a very happy camper indeed. It eats up my 30 mile roundtrip commute and makes me smile every time I ride it, especially now I've got it set up right, and also swapped the saddle for my own - but that's just POSNIB stuff (Problem On Saddle, Not In Bike!). Will at Mango couldn't have moved the earth more to make sure the bike was ready to deliver to me - even going down to a local bike shop to get brake cables, as their supplier hadn't delivered in time. Excellent service and excellent product, couldn't be happier!

Not a good first experience/impression. Problems with the bike, parts of the order not arriving and poor after care to resolve the problems.

Overall the experience of buying from you was ok, Your website is excellent. On receiving the bike I was pleased, you get what you pay for and I was pleased. However after less than 50 miles I find the bike has issues. The wheels both front and back makes noises.... Something metallic like metal filings can be heard inside both wheels. I took off the tyres as I was afraid of punctures, but the sound is coming from the deep dished hubs so you can't shake it out. The brakes make a noise like a hell cat, especially the front. Otherwise all ok. I still ride bike as a commuter, although I still haven't exceeded 100 miles and the bike feels well worn in. The frame is ok, and is comfortable. Better wheels would make a difference, but probably hard to do in this price range.

Pros: Very clear purchasing system, with options. Bike easy to assemble as promised And a very nice non-nonsense fixed gear bike Cons: Some confusion in build and delivery: needed to ring twice to chase. Probably a change in systems. A tinkling noise coming from the crank system - also reported by others.
