“First things first, the Mango Dee.Dee is a very good bike, it looks good, especially in Aqua Star, has sharp handling and the motor gives it some real zip, I have not been a fan of cable disc brakes in the past, but the ones fitted here aren't at all bad. It arrived extremely well packed, it was straightforward to assemble and the battery had quite a bit of charge so I was soon out on the road. My only gripe is the delivery time. The website promises delivery in two to three weeks but I think this applies to non-electric bikes. Mine took nine weeks to arrive and this could have been communicated better. It was worth the wait, however.”

“Had this for 15 months. Been saving the review. Done just over 1000 miles and it’s been treated as a daily commute. I’ve had 3 rear punctures and two new sets of tyres. The bike creeks a bit now. The steel chromium frame was left with water on for 4 days recently and developed a few rust spots, which I’ve rubbed out. The bike was stolen in the summer and I recovered it the same day. The grips are coming off and are loose in the wet now, so will replace. I have fallen off it head over heels once, hit a very small dip in the road in the dark whilst one handed and the bike threw me off, unsteady in the wet. Brilliant in the dry and summer for knocking about town. Although does get lots of attention and people wanting to talk to you all the time about it. Overall, not bad for the price and never seen one around. Still looking good.”

“Overall very pleased with the bike. Solid build, rides smooth, looks great. Had an issue with the wheels as the wrong ones were ordered for the bike so the ones I received were different to those pictured in the ad. Mango did send me some good quality luggage for free to make amends. Also the chainset is not Miche as advertised but Mango's own brand. Bit disappointed with that as the branded chain set influenced my decision to buy the bike. Rang customer service about this but didn't receive a reply. All in all experience with Mango Bikes seemed a little unprofessional but the bike I ended up with is great; if a fair bit different from what I paid for..!!”

“Great bike, great price. The final product looks brilliant. Only complaint is a slight lack of communication after ordering, I had no communication for a few weeks and couldn’t get a response via email or phone. I managed to get a response via Instagram eventually, and all was smooth from there.”

“I'm officially in love with my Mango fixed gear/single speed bike. I upgraded to the fancy 6-spoke wheels which are super strong and pleasantly comfortable (they've also had plenty of admirers!). Not the lightest bike, but I wanted something practical for the winter months that will also build my strength more than a geared bike. This bike feels like it can take whatever nature throws at it (still need to maintain it though!) I would have given five stars, but there was no reply to my emails and no updates on how long it would take to build and be delivered (mine took about two weeks, which is excellent). Hopefully, Mango can sort this out but that's the only criticism I have… and I'm already thinking about getting another one!”

“Performing exactly what I wanted and nicer than I thought it would with just the 8 speed cassette. Enough gears for what I need. Holds a nice line, not quick but once at speed it doesn’t take much to keep it there. I’m really happy so far 4.5 on 5 scale rating.”

“Ordered an 8-speed Shimano chain as Mango had the best price online. Although the description said it would come with a quick link, it wasn't included in the order. However, a short email resulted in one being sent to me straight away. So all good in the end. Thanks guys!”

“I love the range of coloured tires that mango has to offer. I was worried that they might be style over substance but so far my pink ones have held up against slick road surfaces and plenty of rain. Plus I have got lots of compliments....”

“So far so good with the performance of the 2 bikes ordered. The self-assembly was reasonably straight forward though I had to swap the pedals when my son referenced the video! Lost one star because I was originally given an estimate of 14th Dec for when the bikes would be ready but that came and went with no communication and I had to chase it up. However the despatch and delivery were fine at my end once they were ready. Slightly surprised that the bikes came in separate deliveries on the same day and maybe the packaging should have been marked '1 of 2' to save the environment! Cheers.”

“The bike looks great for the price. Really happy with it! The bike looked well packed, but unfortunately during the shipping, something happened with the fork, it's not aligned. So I can not mount the front wheel, have to change the fork. I live on an island in the Azores archipelago (Portugal), so the bike did a big trip till here.”

“I opted for the customised single speed bike; I loved being able to pick different colour combinations and being able to upgrade on certain parts. Thoroughly enjoyed that design experience and that definitely made me pick Mango over other brands. Sadly though, when the bike arrived the rear wheel was broken – which really should have been spotted during assembly. Took the sheen off the purchasing experience as I had to wait for another wheel to be delivered and then obviously had to do all the labour myself. I would've appreciated Mango to have checked in after the issue as part of their customer service – as the issue was clearly an oversight on their part – but they sadly didn't. However, I'm really pleased with the bike as it rides smoothly and feels well put together. Just a shame about the mixed experience.”
