“I love pin badges. Everyone has that thing they love collecting some it's shoes, bags for me it's patches and pins just because there the smallest things but they perfectly round off any outfit. I used madebycooper when launching my book the boy with the hole in his chest to bring one of my characters to life through my talented illustrator. People always compliment it and since then I've wanted to do my own pin badge business as well as making my own d.i.y patches and jackets I'm just struggling to set it up but however when I do get round to I'll Defiantely use made by cooper as they do such high quality products and to but they don't burn a hole in your pocket. There great at communicating they got back to us and worked within our time scale amazing people.”

“hi, the quality was so amazing. very good job very good one. one month to receive as they told me so! well i only saw 10 pins with some sort of defections but its still ok.... the only problem i had was a communication one, i asked something if was possible before placing my order, and the assured me that it was, so i did place my order. after payment and several days after the checks they said it wasn't possible.....still i loved my pins, plus i was disappointed not to see a post on their instagram it would really helped my sales since i am new to pins and that would be awesome to get some boost, i thought they wanted to help new pin designers....”

“Just be aware that the design services are not free if you decide not to order from them. There is a design fee but the only place that is disclosed is deep in the small print in the Terms and Conditions. It's not unheard to pay a fee like this but it is frustrating (and a little shady) that the site says "design services are free" without qualifying that it is only free if you place an order.”

“I have ordered 3 pin designs so far and all look great! I had a problem with my first order, some of my pins had some scratching on the front but they were replaced once I informed the design team! My only complaints are- the backstamp on my most recent pins was set a little crooked, and I requested specific post back colors which I did not receive BUT all-in-all I am very satisfied. The quality of the pins is excellent.”

“Wasn't 100% happy with my received product as the metal finishes aren't clear on the website and a lot of them had flaws like bubbles. So I decided to terminate my 2nd pending order during design process. I was charged £50 because they had worked on my design. I'd understand a small fee, but £50 is a lot when all they did was change the colour and thicken a few small lines. This takes minutes! The fee amount is not clear anywhere on the website even though they told me this was a standard charge rate. Their customer service was snarky, repeatedly quoting me when it wasn't relating to the point of why I was terminating. Not a discount or offer of help or anything. They need serious help with customer relations.”

Thanks for your review, sorry you feel disappointed but charging for work done is a standard practice in any business. I can see from the design you sent us, it was not a case of simply thickening the lines, we re-drew your design to make sure it was able to be made into an enamel badge. This is not a few seconds, it takes time and many years of experience producing thousands of designs for production. The design you talk about, we also carried out a second visual alteration changing quite a lot of detail which was very different from your original design, thus adding more time in the studio which we are more than happy to do as it does not go into production until you are happy, but if its cancelled then the design charge is a fair reflection in the work and experience we have carried out for you.

“I ordered 2 sets of 100 soft enamel pins from Made by Cooper. They arrived within the timeline specified during the ordering process and all looked to be well-made. Made by Cooper helped alter the design to a larger size to make the text more legible and also was receptive to my changes of the digital proof when I needed a better color match. I was happy with the process, price, and product. My only disappointment was I had seen on their twitter and Instagram accounts that they were sharing the pins they designed and they did not share my designs. I was hoping they might share a photo of one or both of my pins as I am just starting out and that kind of bump from Made by Cooper would have really been helpful. I noticed they did it with other US manufactured pins and some of them with their first pin. Sad they didn't do the same with mine.”
