To actually deliver the goods. I think they were let down by APC the carriers. I paid for fast delivery but seven days later customer service still couldn't tell me where the goods were. Five stars for refunding my money.

The worst service ever. After 4 phone calls and 3 E mails, I have still not received the promised delivery. Hermes the carrier has failed to deliver on 5 days and I have now cancelled the order. An absolute farce! I just hope LYCO show a little more efficiency in refunding my money. NEVER AGAIN!

Order placed on a sunday. Fee paid for next day delivery, but item not received by carrier until Tuesday PM. Item delivered on Wednesday by Hermes, but not to my address, and not even in the same Postcode!!! Eventually found but don't want to do business with either of these companies again. At the least get a better carrier.

my order was supposed to be delivered next day delivery and still not been delivered seven days after being ordered. when I phoned customer service about my order they said they would find out where my order was and phone me back when they had tracked my order.still no phone call. terrible service wont be buying anything from lyco again

I am very sorry your order went astray.  The week running up to Black Friday and Cyber Monday are always a challenge foron-line retailers and carriers.  All our team have worked very hard to ensure we maintain our excellent service level although I appreciate in your case things did not go as they should. However, I am pleased to note the review you posted today seems to have crossed with the delivery of your order also today at 11:58.  DPD messaged you when the replacement order was dispatched on Friday and again early today prior to delivery to let you know it was on the way, so perhaps you missed those communications.  We always aim to resolve any queries as speedily as possible ; I am sure you understand we have a process to follow in the case of a lost consignment. Purchased two bedside lamps from the sale, allegedly before sale they were £90 plus VAT each. Not worth the £20+ pounds I paid for each. I emailed customer service about feeling conned but have never received a reply, also on delivery box was damaged and 1 lightbulb was broken.

Delivery terrible , had to chase the courier APC for 5 consecutive day?s, this was stressful. Other than that product fine.

Firstly it took the full 5 days or was it 6 to arrive and I thought it was very dear but I needed it rather quickly. I now Know that I mistakenly thought it would be sent in 1 to 3 days but that was only if I paid more for express delivery but to be honest it was already dear at £14.38, so I wouldn't have ordered it If I had realized. I then decided to buy another one as a spare and I then found a site that sent me exactly the same circular Fluorescent for £6.32 inc. Vat and post free which I ordered on a Friday afternoon and it was delivered first thing on Monday morning. Obviously I will not be using your site ever again. Regards, Keith.

Your order was dispatched according to the delivery option chosen by you at the time of transaction ie three to five working days.  It would then appear to have been misplaced by our carrier however we were not made aware of this until you contacted us by email on the afternoon of 19th September.   I note that today, 21st September, a replacement is due to be delivered to you by DPD between the hours of 13:51 and 14:51 therefore approximately within 48 hours of you notifying us of the problem.  I am sorry if you feel our Customer Service has been lacking in some way. The product listed on the website was not the one held in the warehouse or despatched to me but a far lower spec model. I can accept mistakes do happen but getting somebody to answer the phone, respond to voicemail messages or reply to emails is an uphill struggle. When finally I made contact I will admit the staff were all very pleasant and helpful but the words are totally meaningless unless backed up by the action promised. It took a further two frustrating weeks to get the issue resolved

Very poor, refund for broken tube did not cover cost of replacement tube. Packaging not adequate for a fragile item.

I understand your disappointment that both times the tube arrived broken.  We dispatch thousands of tubes of all sizes annually which arrive with our customers in first class condition therefore you seem to have been extremely unlucky that both yours arrived damaged.   We would have been happy to send out another replacement  however you chose the option of a refund which was processed immediately as per the price on our website.  Our tubes, as with all our range, are priced very competitively.  We endeavour to provide excellent customer service at all times and I am sorry on this occasion we do not appear to have resolved the matter to your satisfaction.   Kind Regards Patricia MullaneCustomer Care Manager

i ordered a kit of ten spike lights i spoke to the customer services and told them they hadnt sent the bulbs for the ten lamps which clearly states that they are supplied but the lady says not she promised to return my call but never did so i think lyco service is terrible

Goods arrived ok but were faulty. I rang customer service and they respnded asing me to return at my cost. Spoke again to customer service and they agree 'if' faulty then they would arrange free postage. To prove them faulty I had to speak with an engineer. I am still awaiting his call baxk after 5 days.

I am sorry you seem so disappointed with us however I am not sure quite sure how you have come to the conclusions you have.    Over two months after receiving your two wall lights you contacted us to advise one was the wrong colour finish.  For this we apologised and immediately sent out the correct light despite the considerable time lapse.  Arrangements were made by us for the return of the unwanted item.  Subsequently you contacted us again having changed your mind about keeping the replacement and thus this was collected along with the original unwanted product.  At all times you were dealt with efficiently and professionally hence my surprise at your comments regarding the quality of customer service you received. Your review of the product is also a touch baffling given you have elected to keep one of the wall lights instead of availing of our Change Your Mind Guarantee Returns Service.   We work very hard to provide excellent customer service and when periodically things do not go as they should weimmediately act to remedy matters in order to minimise the inconvenience to our customer, as I believe we did in your case.
