Emailed customer support 2 minutes after placing order asking to cancel the order. Paid high delivery cost for 3-5 days and it turn up the next day before they even relied.

You placed your order at 18:18 on Thursday 12th September which is unfortunately after our office is closed for the day. Your order was then processed by our warehouse team the following day. We receive many many emails every day therefore cannot guarantee to immediately read and respond to a cancellation request made in this way. Our automatic reply sent to all customers who email us sets out clearly our expected response times. Telephoning our Customer Care Team when our offices re-opened on the following day would have been a better option to allow us to assist. We process all orders as quickly as we possibly can to ensure we not only meet, but if at all possible, exceed our customer's expectations in relation to delivery times. There were no instructions with the product and it took me ages to work out that you need to find the sensor unit inside the upright and reset various different switches. The self threading screws holding the parts together are not easy to undo and refit.Otherwise the product is OK but rather flimsy for the price.

I ordered a cable lights mid December with delivery before Christmas. It's never arrived at advertised time, instead I got a massage that it will come towards the end of year... Never happened! Emailed them myself to be told that will come in few weeks...then again... so at the end..arrived at the beginning of February. Now our electrition, who did all electric jobs in the house, can not make it till mid April...so we have to stay without this lights and can not even check if it's working at all... Really disappointed

I sent this e-mail on 17/07/2019 and still no response: ___________ Dear Lyco, This isn?t good enough, we have been patient enough until now and passed on other options despite the initial sluggish delivery estimate, please find review of notifications from you: ?07/05 Original order made ?08/05 E-mail confirmation of delivery for 18/06 ?10/05 E-mail confirmation of delivery for 13/05 ?16/05 E-mail confirmation of delivery for 16/05 ?19/06 E-mail confirmation of delivery for 12/07 (had to chase for update) ?18/07 E-mail confirmation of delivery for 12/08 (had to chase for update) As a company you are letting us down massively ? we cannot complete the project without the mirror, if you miss 4 consecutive delivery dates, what are the guarantees the 5th will be met? Are your suppliers that poor and with your poor stock/reliability that you cannot do better here? Is there another supplier you can source them for to fulfil the order? Please can I refer you to your ?commitment to you? page: https://www.lyco.co.uk/about-lyco/our-commitment-to-you Please confirm what guarantees you can offer for this transaction. You?ve let us down heavily here, I think compensation would be due as well given the delay etc.

Order placed for four items on 15/07/19. Advised one item on back order, the other three items dispatched. Delivery took place 19/07/19 but only two items notwithstanding the despatch note showing three. Immediately notified shortage but got no reply. Notified again21/7/19 and the response advised they would check with the warehouse and respond within a few hours. Despite a further e-mail still no response and this is the30/07/19. Can confirm however the back order was delivered on time.

The item I bought was awful so am returning it. But have to pay £5 for returning and have to take it to a depot. Also when I filled in the return form it asked for a value and because I put in a £ sign it wouldn?t accept it had to ring up to find out what was wrong

Waiting six weeks for delivery is not satisfactory, despite paying for fast service and being told that the lightbulbs were on their way back in April!!!

I showed that I had been sent the wrong items and that I had used them and all I have received in return is that they should work and are we using a compatible system. no offer to replace or exchange

The item still hasn't been delivered after a week of being held at DPD local depot. I've spoken to Lyco support advisor who promised to call back but I didn't receive a call. I've now sent an email to customer services to try and resolve this issue. I know this is an issue with the courier but Lyco are still responsible.

I am very sorry for the delay with your order. It left us on time on a next day delivery service however when you opted to have it diverted to a DPD pick up point, it seems some difficulties were encountered by our carrier. We will of course raise this unacceptable delay with our DPD Account Manager. I am pleased to advise however that your order was delivered yesterday at 14:04 to your chosen Pick Upshop and it ready to collect. This p I r light isn't up to much,it arrived on time n I fitted it the same day on checking it at night found it had come on as soon as it got dark n stayed on wouldn't go off .rang up n got a replacement light the next day.fitted it n low n behold this did exactly the same.so wouldn't recommend this light .
