Bad experience with deivery of an order of £167, these guys did little to chase it up had to keep ringing them a couple of occasions they just cut the phone off. 1st guy who always picks up is rude. Delivery maybe hermes but lyco are responsible for delivering the pacel to your door when you buy off them.

failed to arrive on first 2 timed arrivals, attempted delivery today with only one hours warning, did not follow previous visits leaving instructions

Lyco is the worst company I have ever come across when it comes to refunds. I ordered a dusk till dawn light for my porch. I've always had one there and it's always worked perfectly well. Unfortunately, this Eterna light had issues from the start. The small terminal had a blockage that made it impossible to push the wire in and tighten the screw, so I had to buy another one. Once darkness arrived the light came on but then seconds later it went back off, then it came back on and then went off. It continued to do this so eventually, I had to turn the light off from the switch. I tried again later but the same thing happened. The following day I rang Lyco to ask for a refund. I spoke to a very unhelpful woman called Joy. Apparently I couldn't have a refund because I had installed the light, she said " You shouldn't have drilled holes in the back of the light fitting " ( even though the installation guide tells you to do so ) Stupid women, how else are you supposed to fit a ceiling light to the ceiling !!!

Okay, quality of product and delivery was good. The problem is what you are not informed about when purchasing this light. Having selected the light fitting and then the recommended tube from the Lyco page you would assume that it would be a very simple matter of fitting the light and putting in the recommended tube flick the switch and bingo all good to go. NO! ths is not the case. It turns out that the new fitting you just bought must be modified by changing the wiring configuration to bypass the ballast unit. This is because the recommended tube is LED. You should make it clear to the buyer that the recommended tube for this light will not work!!! That is not until you have rewired the light fitting as this is something unexpected and not everyone would feel comfortable in doing themselves. After some initial frustration and then saved by a visit to YouTube the new light is in my shed and working nicely with a by-passed ballast. .

Utter farce, first order not delivered, i had to re-order, 75% of what i wanted was now out of stock, re-ordered what was available and this wasn't delivered either! Email sent to customer services , and 6 days later still no response.

My order was wrongness I had to cancel my electrician, 5 days later I've still not had an answer as to why I received the wrong remote and more to the point why i havnt been sent the correct one

There were no instructions with the product and it took me ages to work out that you need to find the sensor unit inside the upright and reset various different switches. The self threading screws holding the parts together are not easy to undo and refit.Otherwise the product is OK but rather flimsy for the price.

I paid a lot of money for delivery and the bulb was in a hundred pieces on arrival. I informed Lyco and another is on its way.

Useless website. Kept showing bad gateway when logging in. Then asked to re-register and then rejected registration. Emailed support several times and got no response. Eventually had to use a different email address to buy what I needed and check out as a guest. Wouldn?t have bothered using but had to match fittings that had been bought from here by a previous electrician. Website user-unfriendly and customer support non existent. Much easier to buy else where...

Delivery was late ,when I chased you said you were waiting for supplies , therefore you taking money from me for goods you did not have , not happy with this ,now looking for a new supplier

Service is rubbish. Still waiting for delivery of my order seven days after placing it, which was supposed to be next day delivery. Their excuse that it is Xmas period may have held up for one to two days but not seven & counting. Suffice to say that was my first & positively last order to Lyco.

My lights should have arrived on Tuesday and I am still waiting, 5 days later. Tried to speak to customer services and no one has got back to me. I would not recommend this company.

Very poor. After a MONTH I still await the correct items. I ordered two warm white reflector lamps but received one warm white and one cold 6000k lamp. Following an email I was sent a replacement BUT Lyco again sent the wrong lamp. I have had no reply to recent e-mails and no return telephone calls. This is VERY BAD.

Sincere apologies David. There was a mix-up in our warehouse over these two very similar products. Unfortunately when we got to the route of the issue we then overlooked sending out the correct lamp to you. I am so sorry. The correct lamp has been dispatched now and you should receive it within a couple of days. Periodically we make mistakes but are usually much quicker at resolving than we were in this case.
