Should have received my light two weeks ago. Hasn?t arrived, you can?t ring them and they haven?t replied to my emails !

Thank you for getting in touch. Your order left us yesterday (5th August) and will be with you tomorrow. Please check your emails for the notification from the carrier which has been sent. As advised on our website at the time of your order your particular choice was out of stock and not due in until yesterday. Unfortunately the situation over recent months surrounding Covid-19 has led to longer lead times for some products. This is something that is out of our control. Request sent 27th July 2020 Hermes received my lighting parcel at their depot on the 17th July 2020 ?we?ve got it? on their tracker system it states sorry for the delay we?ll have it on the move in the next 24 hours they have been stating that for the last 17 days on their tracking system. Could you please cancel that deliver and resend a new light unit by a more reliable courier? Or is it possible to get the parcel collected from there depot as it is creating a Health and Safety issue this end.

My father bought me a ceiling light from this company The product I received was not what he ordered . The box had the picture of what I ordered but inside the box was completely different product . Then I noticed there is no customerservice phone number to try to contact so I emailed and hoped for answer I received a reply to provide pictures i did and then nothing happened 2 days after I emailed again ( see you have to follow up yourself they didn't even do that) after couple of days they said they are following up with the warehouse. And someone will come and collect the wrong product. . 10 days later DHL went to my dads to pick up the product as they wrongly had the billing address instead of where it did ship . Luckily we were living a street apart and my dad gave the right address to dhl guy but what if I was living in another town ?? . And today I finally got the right product . . My experience customer service and warehouse check is pretty awful . The 1 star I'm giving is because the product looks OK not sure if it works yet

Thank you for getting in touch. I am sorry you are not happy with the speed of our customer service. We have a clear process if customers have any kind of query which is set out on our website. To be fair to all customers queries are dealt with chronologically. The matter you raised was in fact not an issue in our warehouse, but a supplier error. They had a packing mishap and the wrong light was enclosed in the product box. Hence this took a little longer than we would like to resolve as they had to re-open and check all their stock of that particular light. Unfortunately, despite best efforts errors occur and as soon as we were made aware we set about making things right for you. Disappointed lights were for 90th birthday party but failed to arrive. Lights were then changed because unavailable and lights were of poor quality than the ones ordered Upset and frustrated

I was sent 2 damaged shelf lights, they must have been damaged before being packed, they have taken over 2 weeks to collect these, they do not answer calls and do not respond to emails. Even of they weren't damaged the quality of the product was appalling. I have no choice now but to go through lengthy process on instigating legal proceedings against them to recover my money. I would advise not to by anything off them or their group company Lyco

I am very sorry your order arrived damaged. Despite best endeavours our fragile goods periodically get damaged in transit and would certainly not have been dispatched in anything other than perfect condition. Your collection was booked, as we promised when you advised of the damage, via DHL and we will investigate as to why this has not taken place as yet. I apologise for the inconvenience caused by the failure of the carrier to attend and will contact you directly with the revised arrangements. Left totally in the dark over the progress of my order. All delivery dates quoted passed with no updates. Need to be more proactive, I do not envisage using again.

Unfortunately due to the situation surrounding Covid-19 some delays occurred getting certain products into stock. I am sorry you are disappointed. These solar lights were not in stock when you ordered as advised on the product page of our website. Lights not arrived as one order still waiting on a light for customer, one light was damaged and I was told out of stock for repair/replacement despite showing as in stock via their own site? !!! Requested countless callbacks, not helpfull at all i still have no resolution....

The bulbs took over a week to be delivered even though I paid for express delivery. When they finally arrived they were all smashed. They did send replacements but again, that took 72 hrs to arrive. So, from time I ordered them to the time working bulbs were delivered It took 10 days.

Poor. I have been given 3 different delivery dates and although I can understand the difficulties and delays with orders during this time I have still not received 1 of the items on my order. The fact I have been asked to rate the service suggests lighting direct thinks all items have been delivered

Informed delivery would be late, offered a refund which I accepted via email no confirmation from them emailed again then got an email saying items are being delivered 6 weeks after ordering.

I complained that my Hermes? package had been left half a mile from my home in the street behind someone?s car. A chap kindly brought it round to me. I emailed the company and a very nice lady called Laura acknowledged my email saying that she had escalated it to her manager who hasn?t bothered to respond with an acknowledgement at least. The goods are fine but I won?t use the company again.

This order was placed on-line and included two lights for which the appropriate payment was taken. There is an opportunity to review orders and correct any mistakes before finalising a transaction on our website. The Customer Care Team
