The shipping costs were really high in my opinion. The lights however were nice, although a lot smaller than I had thought. I would have returned but return delivery also £6.99 min so there wasn't much point. I would think twice before ordering in future.

I ordered some lights in October 2024. Unfortunately, although showing in stock I then received notification they were not available and given a date for the next delivery in November. That date came and went, called up to be given a date in December. That date came and went, called up given another date in Jan 2025 yes you’ve guessed it that date came and went and was given another date in January, where this time they did actually arrive before the date. I was given the option for a refund during the process but I wanted these ones because they match others I already had. Having said all that the customer service team could not have been more apologetic… would I use them again, yes probably I would due to the great manner I was spoken to and the apologies.

After ordering in November and not receiving the lights until the 19 of December I was a little disappointed with the customer service although the product is very good if I use LD again I would like better availability and customer service

Said it would be one day delivery and still hasn't been delivered after a week. Didn't receive shipping instructions for five days whish said it would be delivered by 13:50 today and still hasn't arrived.

Lights arrived in good condition but weren't plug in like I expected. Had to pay £6.50 to return lights which I think is expensive. This has put me off ordering other lights to try from Lighting Direct

Lights quite good, but they need instructions - proper instructions, especially when there is a PIR involved.

The light we ordered arrived broken. The box was in good condition so it may well have come from the factory like it. However when we returned it, although it was credited without fuss, our return postage wasn’t refunded so we are £6.50 down with nothing to show for it. There was no choice to use a cheaper courier either.

Lighting direct and their customer service team were fine. However the bedside light took longer to deliver than I expected and the product though stylish is K RAP even fir the mist patient assembler the set up to get the cover the bits etc in place are dreadful. How so something so simple can be so frustrating is ridiculous to get everything in place it even comes with a faux plastic wine opener as part of the solution. Straight in the bin and ordered elsewhere.

2 Wall Lights (EDIT COSMIC WALL LIGHT WITH PLUG - GOLD) were ordered along with 1 recommended bulb (ENVIROLIGHT 4W WARM WHITE DIMMABLE LED DECORATIVE FILAMENT CANDLE BULB - SMALL SCREW CAP) so I could test how they looked with this bulb rather than ordering two and getting the wrong colour. Had to call customer service to expedite the lights as the bulb needed a few more days till it was in stock. In the order confirmation it stated the bulb would be sent separately when it was available but looks like the whole order had been halted until everything was in stock. Lights arrived shortly after sorting this but with the bulb too so thought this was odd. Lights look great but the wrong bulb was sent and doesn't even fit into the light as it's the wrong size. So delivery was later than expected and the wrong bulb was sent. The bulb I ordered says it won't be back in stock until September on the website so will be asking for a refund and looking elsewhere for bulbs I guess!

Delivery was quick and smooth. However, the packaging seems not good enough to protect the product as there's only a cling film mounted on the product, wrapped with a very thin layer of corrugated cardboard labelled 'FRAGILE'. I would appreciate that minimal packageing is good for the environment, but if the product is labelled as fragile, something more should be added to protect the product rather then just a very thin layer of paper wrapped around and sent out to the customer. You can see there's a dent on the Ledvance Value 24W Cool White LED Slim Batten - 5ft Single SKU: 62504. Please see attached pictures.

Poor Service ordered 14/12 contacted customer service online - no response. After calling on 18/12 finally delivered 19/12. No option to change delivery or nominate a safe place. Advertised as one day delivery - arrived 5 days after order placed at 20:45 - lucky we were home!. Products seem ok - no use so can't realistically comment. Not all pieces ordered available upon delivery.

Website is well presented and the selection of products is vast. Delivery was delayed, which was well communicated, but it might make me consider shopping elsewhere in the future. Product arrived as described and advertised online.

On line order was easy and delivery as promised however when opening g the box, disappointed to find the product had scratches in several places and large fingerprints. Not sure this was a brand new item as would be expected so getting in touch to complain and return item.

Lighting direct deliver very promptly. However I haven't been very impressed by the Lutec LED lights. I had four fitted in my garden. So far I have had to replace two. They are supposed to last 1000's hours, but this has not been the case. And of course, it is not just a matter of replacing the bulb.

Goods arrived quickly in good condition but we have given 3 stars as the courier left the parcel outside the front door when we were not in and it was raining.
