No information prior to placing the order was provided in regards to the waiting time for the purchased item Poor contact with the customers service Item was ordered to the Uk and came with the European plug, I am unable to use it now, no information about this was given, no converter provided, no contact from costumers service when I asked about the solution I will never buy anything of you again and will warn others too

Item arrived broken and Lampsy have so far refused to provide a replacement or offer a refund, contravening the Consumer Rights Act 2015. UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO RETAILER REPLY When item was ordered in on 15th December 2021 I was advised it was out of stock and would be back in stock within 7-10 working days. This information was false, and the item didn't end up being delivered until late February. I advised the retailer in March that it had been delivered broken with a crucial part for assembly of the product snapped in half with the other half missing. When I requested a repair or replacement formally, as per my Consumer Rights, they refused before eventually offering a £25 refund on an £89 item. The notion that because I 'reported a damaged item more than 3 months after delivery, we can no longer accept it back.' misses the point of their legal obligations as a retailer entirely. Their version of events here also entirely contradicts the version I was provided via email, see below. As per the Consumer Rights Act 2015, I am legally entitled to request a repair or replacement for up to 6 months after delivery. I requested this 6 weeks after delivery. It is for the retailer to take up any issues with their courier directly, as they hired them, and it should not affect my rights as a customer. This retailer has a very disappointing grasp on their legal requirements, and I would not recommend anyone use them as a result. I will be taking this further through the appropriate channels.

Hi Michael, I’m really sorry that you’ve been unsatisfied with our service and that we were unable to refund your order. We’re unable to offer returns without any time limits and as you reported a damaged item more than 3 months after delivery, we can no longer accept it back. I realise this is frustrating, however because of the length of time that has passed, we’re unable to raise this with the courier or make a claim with them for the damage. Best wishes, Michael

Lampsy asked me to review them - I wouldn't have bothered so this review is posted at their request! I'm sure that if everything goes smoothly, there is a reasonable level of customer satisfaction. This 1* review is entirely based on customer service, not on the quality of the products. If there is a problem with your order (ie: it's on backorder!), then be very aware that you will go for weeks without any information, but Lampsy will have taken the money very promptly. There is a phone number, but "because of Covid" they aren't answering it (in fact, they don't advertise a phone number, but you can find it if you search a bit); There is a chatbot, but it's not often it will let you get to a person and its standard responses were unhelpful. When I finally got the offer to chat to a person, it cut me off after a further 10 minute wait because no one was available; There is an email to contact, but in my experience, there is only a 50-50 chance that anyone replies and even then it generally takes several days. After over a month (when the estimate was 7-10 days), I cancelled my order, which isn't as easy as it sounds! I appreciate that suppliers are struggling with getting stock in, but the lack of customer service and information makes this a really difficult company to deal with, so I can't recommend them and won't be using them again.

Avoid buying through this company. Terrible customer service. Paid for next day delivery but the item didn’t arrive the next day and when I queried this, was told it was the weathers fault. Should of taken more note of other poor reviews. Don’t make the same mistake as me!

My order of 14 filament E14 candle bulbs took 10 days to arrive. The company were very difficult to contact. No phone number. I eventually made email contact and received a response. I tried to cancel my order but couldn’t. I said I did not want anything from China. The dimmable bulbs (as stated on the website) arrived eventually and each box said ‘Made in China’ and ‘Non Dimmable’. Total disappointment and they were returned immediately. To be fair they did waive the £12.50 return label charge - but so they should. Now I have to wait for my £91 refund. I have since bought exactly what I need from Lyco. The bulbs arrived in 24hrs. They are dimmable and have a 1yr guarantee and 15,000 hr lifespan…. Use this company instead - you can talk to a real person….. and the bulbs are not made in China!

Really sad to say my experience with Lampsy was being sold goods that were not in stock and never came into stock. My purchase was made on the 16th November for 2 Groa shades for £139.00 for an office project I was designing. I believed they would arrive soon as there was no advice to say there was no stock. On the 29th November, still no goods. There is no number to call. I had to message via Instagram to get a response which still took a few days. I was then advised delivery would now be the 19th December. Not ideal but my client was prepared to wait. On the 23rd December, still no shades arrived so I contacted them again. In a conversation I asked why the shades were not in stock if I was told 19th December. I had no response to that email. After Christmas, I heard nothing. I finally sent messages view Instagram on the 7th, 10th and 11th asking for a refund and expressing how disappointed I was. Shocking! The project is finished and I now have to source shades for two pendant light fittings that are left blank. Sadly, although the goods look fab, I will not recommend or purchase from again. Its the sad facts of today that these companies are using drop shipping i.e. not keeping stock, they are buying it as they sell it which is very risky. Be careful what you wish for and bring back shop fronts please.

Non existent customer service. Ordered a lamp that was in stock at the time of ordering and was supposed to be delivered within 3-5 days. 2 weeks later it still hasn’t even been dispatched and multiple attempts of reaching customer service have been unsuccessful. Conveniently their live chat has been disabled so wonder if they’ve gone bust. Extremely poor experience - I doubt the lamp will ever arrive nor will I get my money back. Avoid at all cost!

Ordered two lightfittings and 6 bulbs on the 27th Nov, Paid for Express Next Day Shipping (£8.99). Order wasn’t fully delivered until 14th January as did not have the stock of bulbs available despite them being available to purchase on the site. Part-delivery was only achieved over a week later after chasing for an order update. No contact number available online, live chat only- livechat initially responsive in December but ignored further chats asking to refund Express Delivery charge and cancel order if products weren’t going to be available. Won’t order again.

I’ve had no feedback on my broken part Customer services you need to stay on top of things. Should not have to wait days for a reply. I’m waiting on a replacement broken part or I will return both lights and buy from another supplier who will respond. Apart from that the lights are great I just wanted to put them up if they weren’t broken Thanks!

The desk lamp that i received when i took it out of the wrapping is damaged. Upon notification Lampsy apologised and promptly offered either a refund/ exchange being keen to put things right. I was impressed by this prompt approach and positive customer service. Thankyou for your help. Thankyou

Terrible customer service, poor communication They take your order and your money, then you don't hear from them for days, and when you enquire, your email gets answered a week later telling you they are out of stock (for a product that was listed IN STOCK online) pure deception to generate more cash flow

Product lovely but customer service shocking with what appears to me to be only email communication. I could not find a contact number. No ability to phone customer service is really not enabling communication. Stock availability on the website is totally inaccurate. 7-10 day lead times for items, to be then told availability will be in Jan or March after order wastes time and opinion of lampsy.

The lights that I have been sent are nothing like the pictures in the website. The description clearly states glass shades but those sent are made from chrome. Very disappointed

I have had the lamp sent out to my home address twice now & it has ended up almost 2 hours away from where I live each time so I am still waiting for the light to be delivered. Customer service have been good at getting back to me I’m just hoping it’s 3rd time lucky & I receive next week.
