I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Lampsy. My order was delayed far beyond the advertised 3-5 working days, and the lack of clear communication only added to the frustration. While delays can happen, the handling of this situation was unacceptable. Suggesting I should wait to book an electrician is basic common sense and does nothing to address the inconvenience caused by the excessive delay and poor communication. Timely delivery is a basic expectation when making a purchase, and Lampsy failed to meet even this standard. The offered resolution—a free return label—was completely inadequate given the inconvenience caused. If this is the level of service Lampsy considers acceptable, I feel compelled to warn others. I would strongly advise against relying on this company. Avoid Lampsy if you value good customer service and reliability.

I would like to offer my sincerest apologies that your order wasn't delivered on time and that communication was lacking. We have had some issues with our mailing system which have now been rectified. We are also looking to move to a new email system shortly. Absolutely terrible experience. I placed an order expecting delivery within 5 days, but it took over 4 weeks for anything to arrive. To make matters worse, only 1 of the 4 items I ordered was delivered. Customer service has been practically non-existent—no updates, no communication, and no effort to resolve the issue. It’s clear that this company has no regard for their customers or their time. I strongly recommend avoiding Lampsy at all costs. Save yourself the hassle and shop elsewhere. Terrible service, unreliable delivery, and a complete lack of accountability.

My lamp has been delivered with a cracked glass shade and despite several emails, Messaging service contacts and Shop notifications absolutely no response received whatsoever.

Shocking lack of customer service. They claimed to have no knowledge of my order and then, after weeks, it arrived but only after i had ordered again. Now, not needing the new order, i am trying to return is and get a refund but no luck. Horrid service, do not use. No telephone number to be found.

Absolutely shocking. 3 main issues. Lampsy state items are in stock. They are not. They will send you an email several days after you have ordered and state there is a stock discrepancy. 2. Over 10 days later we got an email saying our item has been dispatched - it’s now been 4 days and still no item. 3. There is zero customer service. Calls - you can leave a message but no one returns call. Do NOT use this company.

I have looked into this issue and I can see that this item was backordered and was available for pre-order on the website. Items that are backordered are generally available in 14-21 days from date of order. I understand that it must have been disappointing when this was delayed longer than expected. The delivery took longer than stated on their online shop. Their customer service is extremely slow and takes to get an answer. I eventually got my order but there is an issue with the pendant shades which are not cheap. I have emailed customer services and no response. I have made numerous calls but can never get through. Disappointing service.

Unable to speak to any one on the phone and when i effectually go a E-Mail the delivery date was not honoured

17:11 9 May - It is poor form asking for a review when my goods haven’t even been delivered yet. Misplaced faith in automated systems. I was hoping for delivery yesterday or today but nothing has been delivered yet .

The lights arrived but my electrician could not install them because the hex head screw you need to remove in order to wire up the lights threaded on every single light. So all lights could not be opened to make the wiring connections.

Despite ordering over £150 worth of goods, I was charged £20 delivery. Your website did not make it clear that there were conditions to the "free" delivery. The email address on the website was incorrect. The online chat never seemed to work. When I tried to call the lines were ALWAYS busy and when I left messages, no-one called me back. In short, I will not be using the site again.

The light looks good but the moodmaker doesn't work properly, it should cycle through three settings but only two work. The moodmaker is a pain to use.

Worst customer service I have experienced in decades. The original issue was with DPD who failed to deliver, failed to send a pickup pass and then wrongly returned item to depot. I emailed Lampsy customer service, asked them to send the item back out asap, they were totally disinterested in the stress, inconvenience and wasted time and told me I'd have to complain to DPD (who had already told me I needed to complain to Lampsy). When I told them how disappointed I was, they decided to cancel my order, knowing that I was desperate to receive it as soon as possible. When I asked why they had gone out of their way to make my situation even worse, they claimed it was a "commercial decision", which makes absolutely no sense. They then stopped answering emails. I can only assume that they cancelled my order as a direct result of me having expressed my dissatisfaction with their customer service. Shocking. I wish I had checked TrustPilot before ordering as there are lots of bad reviews there complaining about their customer service. I have now found the item elsewhere (slightly cheaper too) and will never buy from Lampsy again.

I recently purchased an item from Lampsy, which I needed promptly. Unfortunately, my experience has been less than satisfactory. Initially, the website malfunctioned during my order; it processed my payment without capturing my address correctly. When I brought this to their attention, responsibility for the website error was not acknowledged. Despite my efforts to confirm a delivery date, I was left without clear information. When I sought to cancel my order and request a refund due to this uncertainty, I was informed that neither was possible. To add to the confusion, I was later told the order was dispatched, but it never reached me. As a customer, this situation is quite distressing. My money has been taken, but I've neither received the service promised nor the item I paid for. While I understand that mistakes happen, the lack of clear communication and resolution from Lampsy has been disappointing. I had high hopes for my experience with this company but based on this incident, I cannot in good faith recommend their service. I hope this feedback is taken constructively and that future customers will see improvements in service reliability and communication.
