The lamp I received does not work very well as the glass part does not screw onto the base correctly. I did email Lampsy to raise this however, they just advised for me to return it if I was not happy. I have chosen to keep the lamp as I have to fund the cost to return it even though the fault is theirs.

Order was delayed in arriving and came in 2 parts. Glass of light fitting arrived smashed. I’ve emailed asking how to get a replacement, delayed response and no resolution at current.

Still awaiting response after sending several messages over 48hrs ago and still no item which was meant to be next day last Thursday

Awful customer service - bought two lights and had one fitted professionally. Came to light that the other one was faulty before fitting. Emailed lampsy for a replacement (one light now fitted of course) and wouldn’t give me one. Their attitude is - if it’s faulty get a refund and buy another one yourself! So I filled out the form to return and they haven’t sent me a return label and are ignoring all emails from me! Have never experienced anything like this!! It’s been horrific - avoid at all costs

Despite the bad reviews, decided to order 2 lamps anyway. One came in the wrong colour, the other's head and base were completely scratched. Appalling quality for spending a total of over £200 on this site. Let's hope their customer service is better.

Very unpleasant experience Supposed to arrive before Christmas but i still not receive it Contact customer service many times now they totally ignore me Not recommend at all

Order placed for two Nordlux lights on 29th December, and express delivery paid for. Items dispatched on 5th January. I have purchased Nordlux lights before, but quality of these was very poor. Not the fault of Lampsy. Neither worked until flex was moved and fixed in a way that a connection was made. A two pin plug has been fixed into a three pin plug, with a poor connection achieved. I will not buy Nordlux again.

Hi Philip, I'm sorry to hear your order didn't arrive on time and that you were unhappy with the quality. We have a 30 day return policy, where you can return any item for a full refund within 30 days of receipt. I'd be happy to help with returning these for a refund? With regards to the late dispatch, our offices were closed until the 4th of January, which is why your order wasn't dispatched sooner. Products were damaged when they arrived and some missing. I contacted Lampsy and they refunded the missing items and sent me a label to print out to return the damaged items. I told them i didn't have a printer or access to one due to lock down. They said the drop off place would print it out. I drove to the drop off place and they did not have a printer. Returned home and emailed Lampsy who refused to send me out a label. Ended up having to get a family member to print it out and post it to me. Returned it and it arrived back with them 12 days ago and still no refund. Unbelievably bad service.

I could not have had a worse experience with Lampsy. Not only did I receive the wrong products, but it has taken weeks to receive a refund and still haven't received funds. I will never make a purchase with Lampsy again and will ensure to tell all friends undertaking home renovations to avoid at all cost.

My order never arrived. Still awaiting a resolution via customer service and Parcel Force but there has been a lack of active communication on Lampsy’s behalf with me having to chase regularly.

The light fitting on the wall light I ordered is incompatible with the bulb it advises to buy. This after waiting quite a while for it to arrive.

Beware the Next-Day Delivery trap! Placed an order at 09:40am on Wednesday and paid £8.99 for next-day delivery. Didn't receive any dispatch notification throughout Wednesday and needless to say I didn't receive the order on Thursday. When contacted and asked why, I received a reply on Friday afternoon saying that the parcel had now been delivered to a neighbours' property (I wasn't there to receive the delivery - hence why I paid for the delivery on Thursday). They also informed me that next-day delivery is not guaranteed. They are hiding behind the Covid situation as a reason that couriers may not deliver on the correct day and will not be offering refunds should this happen. The fact that they didn't actually dispatch the order on the correct day doesn't seem to qualify as a reasonable excuse for a refund and they haven't bothered replying to my subsequent email. What's wrong with holding your hands up, admitting an error and putting things right? Can't recommend them based on this experience I'm afraid.

I'd recommend reading a range of reviews before ordering from here. If your order is as placed then all is great, but when there's an issue the way this company deals with it is really anything but customer centric. I placed an order and had no notification of delivery. The order was delivered, followed 4 hours later by a notification to say delivery was going to take place. Upon opening the order, it wasn't what I'd ordered. I contacted Lampsy immediately and was told I had to arrange for return of the incorrect items. I was told I would then have to wait for the returned items to be received by them before they would send out the items I actually ordered (receipt by their preferred courier wasn't enough). Only then would they send out my ordered - and paid for - items and presumably I'd then have to wait +7 days from that date again for the arrival. When I challenged this - as I needed the lamps by a certain date for visiting guests which would have been fine had they sent the items I actually ordered - I was met with a very consistently dismissive and arrogant response by their MD who told me if I want them quicker I should order and pay for a replacement set. Only once they receive the incorrect items will they then issue a refund. Again, the full onus on me as the customer to resolve everything - and for a period of what would be a few weeks between ordering another set and receipt of the refund for the incorrect one, pay twice - when the mistake sat entirely with them. I declined this suggestion, got a refund for the incorrect items received and found the lamps elsewhere with a company who called me immediately on order to discuss delivery time expectations, ensure I was happy with that and that I knew which bulbs were required etc... it's attention like this which makes the difference for small companies and why customers want to recommend them and deal with them again and again.

Sent lights that weren’t as the photo that they had shown on there website and then expect me to go and take them back to a Hermes drop off with no apology ... quite unbelievable
