After placing my order for a wall light, I didn't receive details of delivery though the automated system suggested dispatch would be 3 days. After one week with no communication or hints of delivery date, I emailed asking for an approximate delivery date to help organise our electrician. After 3 days when I hadn't received a reply to my email, I wrote again asking for approximate delivery dates. I was told the delay was caused by inaccessibility to a part of the warehouse where the bulb was stored due to social distancing with covid-19. It was suggested that we take delivery of the lamp minus the bulb ordered at the same time. I agreed to this and the lamp has arrived, but it didn't seem to occur to the company that a refund of approximately £5 for the bulb should be actioned. I will email again, but shouldn't have to. Many good companies are struggling to survive in these difficult times, shame that Lampsy don't make that extra effort for their customers. It doesn't always take a huge effort to go from being a mediocre company to a good quality company and can make the difference of survival in these troubled times.
The lamps that I ordered were described as Class II. They actually require an earth-fitting, hence are Class I.

I am awaiting a quote from an electrician to have the lighting re-wired but will likely need to return them.

This is a really important part of the description that needs to be correct.

The lamp I ordered turned up in a beaten up box and failed to work. It took a lot of back and forth with customer service before they agreed it was faulty (though Lynn in customer service was responsive and polite). They also tried to make me cover the cost of the return before agreeing to cover it.

Still waiting for my refund after returning the lamp over 2 weeks ago.

Seems like they'll try keep hold of your money for as long as possible.
Lamp ok quality but plug was clearly European socket rammed and wired into UK one through what is a clear basic cut out. It does not even close properly, it’s loose and rattles, and does not feel that safe for a child’s bedroom. Could have at least been properly rewired or something - a much safer and professional option.
I still have had no delivery date information for my order
Slow to despatch, after 8 days I had to chase to get my order released. Difficult to contact Care to arrange returns. Will not be using again.
I bought the Barron 3 Light Island Pendant in December. The delivery was late and I had to chase it up by email.
The Pendant is not straight which is annoying given its price. We only found this out, when it was installed by the electrician.
So it is pointless to ask for a replacement now.
As there is no Address on the website, could this be a Chinese supplier bringing in goods to the UK?
The delivery is really misleading, and we still haven’t received our order!

- it says 5 day delivery, but we waited 6 days before we even got an email to say our items have been dispatched, I’ve been tracking our item ever since but looks like it will be another 5 days before they turn up. Taking us to a 10 day delivery
Although the globe itself looks as pictured, the ceiling rose that is not pictured is a plastic tacky thing that does not come with any ceiling fixing hooks/brackets. This costs more for installation and runs the risk of the weight of the globe itself not being supported properly.
