“2 screws for the chair were the wrong size, luckily I had my own or it would have had to go back. Packaging was poor, luckily there was no damage and no instructions on how to to put together. Wouldn’t buy from here again”

“I recently bought a simple charcoal grey office chair. It was in the sale and exactly what I needed - no arms, swivel, wheels. The delivery was swift and all items included in the box to put it together without difficulty, plus a complete spare set of bolts. (Possibly there could be a warning about the lubricant on the hydraulics to avoid getting messy hands as it is not visible) The chair is solid and looks good. The broad seat and back make it comfortable even after several hours. It easily fits under the table/desk when not needed and the base with wheels doesn't stick out as a trip hazard - very helpful. You can completely lean back without feeling unstable. Everything works as it should - swivel, height adjustment with a wide range. The welding on the base isn't very tidy, and there is a chrome cover to hide that away and keep things looking smart. It would have been nice to have a non-grey colour option, but that's a minor consideration. So pleased was I with the first chair that I bought a second identical one for my home workstation. Interactions with Customer Care were friendly, professional, and responsive. The second chair was also delivered swiftly and in sufficient but minimal packaging (good for the environment). I would recommend this company and, from this experience with a basic product (where one might expect a lesser quality item), I am very happy with the quality, the sale price, and the responsiveness of Customer Care if there were any sporadic issue.”

“Beautiful looking chair that fits snug under my desk, and at such a reasonable price too. Would have given a 5 if the seat was a bit wider, the seating area is restricted by the design of the sides of the seat, but this will encourage me to get up and walk about on a regular basis..every cloud!”

“I ordered 3 bar stools from this company and I am so impressed with them. Especially for the price, the quality exceeded my expectations. It was a prompt delivery with an excellent service. There were some parts missing to one of the stools and they responded so quickly and sent them out the next day with extras. A great service, superb products and fast delivery.”

“Our delivery was delayed by the courier by one day. The box was eventually delivered later than requested and heavily damaged and wide open. We put the chair together and noticed some cosmetic damage to one of the legs. Overall we like the chair but were not impressed by the courier who were late.,lied about the delivery and damaged the box and possibly the furniture inside. We have taken photographs if you are interested.”

“Bought 6 Portman Burnt Orange Velvet Swivel Bar Stools for a kitchen refurb. Quality is good, comfort is excellent and I like the fact that they are quite light to move around and when gassed down to their lowest setting they sit under our kitchen island. Also great value as we got 10% off as a first order from the website. Customer service is spot on, a human who works for Lakeland answers the phone and is knowledable and helpful. Our delivery contained a couple of dented base units which were replaced by the next day with no quibbles or returns needed. Very happy customer!”

“Really disappointed as the vintage leather is not the colour on the website and more like the standard green. Husband won't let me return as he has already built them and ordered them so really upset as spent months trying to find ones the correct colour.”

Looking at the image you have provided I can see you have received the vintage green colour, which is egg shell finish with mottling throughout the colour which gives the vintage effect; whereas the green faux leather is a shiny finish and a bottle green colour with no mottling.
