“The stool I ordered for my dressing table is great and the quality is brilliant although it is a little high and the measurements show different on the website. Overall great product”

“Really good breakfast bar stools, steady to sit on and seat material lovely quality. Just one small moan, putting them together was a bit of a challenge - maybe it was me but I found it very hard to get it right on first or second attempt but I am really pleased with my purchase”

“The items themselves (bar stools) were perfectly OK and just as described. However the packing was very poor and as a result the bases and the gas lift cylinders collided with one another inside the box during transit. They became dented and the plastic collars which fit round the base were all broken. Lakeland was very good at reacting to the problem and sent replacements very quickly. However if the items had been packed securely none of the time nor expense (for extra shipments) would have been necessary.”

“Great purchase experience, bar stools delivered very swiftly. Great quality padded seats and covering. However the chrome is not a great quality with a hazy shine, typical for Chinese goods.”

“Very nice looking and functional chair for home office which is part of the main living area. Fits in nicely and doesn't look too "officey". Chrome compliments upholstery very well.”

“Item ordered on 9th September with 3-4 day delivery. It is now the 16th September and I've heard nothing. DPD is showing there's an "unexpected error". I've contacted Lakeland Furniture by both their website contact form and email and received no response. Money has been taken for the item. EDIT --> Lakeland Furniture has since responded and rectified this, due to a courier issue. Review has been amended to reflect this.”

“Beautiful looking chair that fits snug under my desk, and at such a reasonable price too. Would have given a 5 if the seat was a bit wider, the seating area is restricted by the design of the sides of the seat, but this will encourage me to get up and walk about on a regular basis..every cloud!”

“I ordered 3 bar stools from this company and I am so impressed with them. Especially for the price, the quality exceeded my expectations. It was a prompt delivery with an excellent service. There were some parts missing to one of the stools and they responded so quickly and sent them out the next day with extras. A great service, superb products and fast delivery.”

“Arrived in a box that had clearly been used before - complete with torn off address label - and no instructions on how to put together included. Fortunately, I'd bought similar stools for the kitchen and to be honest, it wasn't rocket science anyway, taking only a few minutes to put together. It is 'small' but as someone short of leg at only 5'3", it's a good 'fit' for me in a bedroom office still being refurbed. All in all, happy with the purchase and the price HAD gone down a bit by the time I ordered, maybe as this was a 'return' (?)”

“Bought 2 high stools for our kitchen table. We are really pleased with them. Good quality, colour was the same as the picture. Only negative was there were no assembling instructions but quite easy to build.”

“The bar stools were value for money and just what we wanted. In the main easy to put together apart from the fact that one went together easily but the second (had different packaging) Was aproblem until my husband realised the screw hole were full of wood chippings. He is very practical so cleaned them out and then resolved the problem,. Otherwise we would have sent it back. Otherwise it would have scored 5.”
