My very expensive island stools were breaking. Weld of the foot rest to the stand breaking off. I replaced all the bases with matte black & circular foot rest. Far more strength in that design. They arrived very quickly & my daughter & I had all 6 stool bases replaced & looking more modern in about 30 minutes. All 6 base replacements weren't the price of 1 stool. Excellent!
