I ordered a custom Roman blind in a beautiful Casamance fabric. Upon ordering I was told it would take 4-6 weeks to receive it. I was happy to wait. However this time frame came and went and I enquired regarding the delivery date of my blind. I was told it would be delivered by the end of the week and that I'd receive tracking details before it shipped. Again, this came and went with no communication from Jayne Clayton. I had to email again. I was then told it would be dispatched on the Monday. I heard nothing so again ailed to enquire of it's whereabouts. No response. I emailed again a few days later. No response again. I finally filed a PayPal dispute and received no response there either. Contacted via Instagram twice and finally got a reply. A day or so later I received tracking details and after that a response from the team. I've received the blind and have to say I am sorely disappointed with the quality. The wood used to hang the blind is unfinished and have spots of mould. There were no fixings and no drill holes in the blind. Throughout the fabric is puckered and where it should be blind stitched white threads show throughout. I can't quite believe the quality considering the price and I have ordered many bespoke Roman blinds from other companies that were significantly less expensive and the quality ten fold of that of Jayne Clayton. Overall a very disappointing service and product and I doubt I will ever return.

Item was good, however after paying £8.15 for two short strips of chord, to be charged £6.95 for delivery fir a package that couldve been sent in an envelope which took three weeks is a joke.

Haven’t opened package yet as transporting abroad but your courier company ignored a very obvious, very large driveway and chose to leave my fabric outside our drawing room door in the pouring rain. It is obvious this is not a front door; no door bell, no letter box. Had he gone to the front of the house and rung the bell, my husband was awaiting the delivery. I just hope my fabric is not ruined. Very disappointing 😔

This company supplied me with faulty wallpaper which consequently left me with a decorator to pay for doing nothing!

Appalling customer service. It has taken weeks to address a small issue - and it’s still not even sorted yet. Everyone we have spoken to has been incredibly unhelpful and evasive. Our blinds (that aren’t broken) are lovely, but I really wish we had gone somewhere else with how much stress and frustration this has caused.

Not a great experience. Lovely people let down by a poor product/ packaging resulting in both consignments of expensive wallpaper being damaged in transit and slow administration to collect/ refund.

What a total disaster. My delivery never appeared and I made countless phone calls trying to find out where it was. After over two three weeks I went mental and only then was my complaint handled properly. Even then delivery which was promised promptly took quite a few days. The staff I spoke to sounded polite and helpful but were really not investigating the problem until I made a terrible fuss. The inefficiency I experienced was extremely inconvenient and costly and had they investigated the problem rather than fobbing me off with false promises it would have been so much easier to remedy. Despite the inefficiency I was not offered any compensation and one roll of the wallpaper was actually flawed resulting in considerable wastage but for my own sanity I didn’t have the energy to complain.

J'ai voulu retourner un colis de Belgique et Angleterre qui ne me plaisait pas. Il y a eu un probème avec la douane qui réclamait des frais de douane à la société Clayton. J'ai eu beaucoup de difficultés à comprendre pourquoi il y avait ces frais. J'ai fait toute une série de recherche auprès de Parcel Force et de HMRC. J'ai à chaque fois envoyé un mail à Clayton pour leur dire ce qu'il pourrait être fait pour débloquer la situation mais Clayton n'a fait aucune démarche de leur côté malgré aussi mon accord pour leur payer ces frais de douane et finalement le colis est revenus chez moi. Sercie clientèle zéro !!

Be very wary before you order as you can see on here there are many reviews ‘under investigation” and I have now waited 16 weeks for blinds / fabric that were apparently in stock. It was clear that half of my large order had been forgotten and if I hadn’t chased them they wouldn’t have arrived at all. Jane Clayton have been very happy to take my £4200 and yet I am still waiting for the final blind over a quarter of the year later. The quality of the “brass” winders is also very poor and looks more like cheap yellow gold. No one ever answers the phone and my last email has not yet been answered - I am genuinely at the end of my tether with this. There are other brands out there who take customer care much more seriously - which is clearly not the case at Jane Clayton - a thoroughly shocking and disappointing experience and still not closed down.

Stunning paper. Thank you. However, following guidance from my decorator i have a roll left over. The company will not accept a return and offer a refund, unless the whole order is returned. I am still to locate the t's and c's to have been made aware prior to ordering. I WILL NEVER order from this company again.

I’ve always been happy with Jane Clayton having ordered curtains from them on several occasions. This time however….. I suggest the the company employ someone specifically for sorting/communications on product delays. Especially communications. I’ve emailed several times about when my curtains would be ready ( ordered 11/08 and 1/09 respectively) but to date have had no reply. I am now bombarding them with emails and have requested a refund if I don’t get a reply. The ombudsman would be my last result. It’s very sad and a poor reflection on the company. I wait in hope.

Ridiculous returns policy - you can order 1 roll of wall paper and send it back but if you order any other amount you can only return them all. I quite wanted the money back from the remaining pristine unopened roll but apparently that’s not possible unless I ordered it separately. It’s not logical and they can’t explain it! If you’re in any doubt on quantity then place the last roll as a separate order so you can beat system…..
