“Apparently I just put a reviw through for the chap who did fix our macine. Glotech were absolutelu useless. They agreed an appointment, subbed it out, but the subbie couldn't do the job on the day as agreed. The subbie made an other appointment for another day at a specific time, agrred by email - 1:00 pm. However, at 4:30pm, we had a phone call to say they cold not do the job at this time, but could do it the following week. So, overall, Glothech was pretty useless. Sorry about the false rating as high!!! When I entered "poor" it could not find the server - that happened several times. Whats all that about? Dave Salmon”

“Was seriously thinking about changing my American fridge freezer but after only 7 years thought it was worth taking the risk on having it fixed. Pleasantly surprised with Glotech and how they work. Now have my appliance working like new and at a reasonable cost. Thank you.”

“Visit on time. Professional, friendly and competent engineer. Only minor criticism is that Glotech was going to call me with a quote for a new appliance and they never did. I even phoned them a couple of days later and they said that they would call me but to no avail. I would have likely bought from them as I was impressed with their engineer and service. However, I would recommend them.”

“Our repair man kept in touch regarding his arrival time, which was brilliant. He managed to fix the washing machine and throughly inspected it, as well as giving some practical and useful tips to keep it in tip top condition. Would recommend”

“Prompt diagnosing of problem , and speedy replacement of Dishwasher. 2nd faulty hob, was inadvertedly rectified when examined, and did not need replacement. Shop Manager handled deal very well. (Knaphill).”

“After telephoning Glotech with details of the fault to my Bosch washing machine, they gave me date and time repair would be carried out. This repair was then (obviously) outsourced to another company. 15 minutes after the 'phone call with Glotech, I was contacted by another company who told me that the fault on my washing machine deemed it to be beyond economic repair. Therefore no mechanic would be calling at the time arranged by Glotech. Why was I not informed of this by Glotech?”

Dear Mr Coffey Thank you for your review and we are sorry that you felt our service was not to your satisfaction. When a customer places a booking with us our office staff take down as much information about the fault(s) as possible. As they are not engineers, this information then gets passed to our Local Engineers who triage the job to ensure we are as best prepared as possible on the day (including bringing any spare parts with us where possible if we think it may speed the repair process up). Where many companies would have just attended, charged you a service fee, and told you your appliance was beyond economical repair, we believe in offering our customers a honest and value-for-money service. We felt it was better to save you paying us the one-off labour charge and provide you with a free of charge diagnosis over the phone. Once again, we are sorry we have not met your expectations on this occasion and hope in light of our clarification in how we work you may be willing to give us another chance should the opportunity arise. “needed dishwasher door to be re affixed took 3 call outs to achieve the door being stuck to the dishwaher, why not use the strongest glue in the first place .................. duh.”
