Hi Brian, I have just checked our system and can see that you requested to book in an appointment yesterday for today but unfortunately we had no availability, we did try to contact you yesterday to rearrange a time and date but you never responded to us. Called this company as we had a faulty Dishwasher and understandably the job was farmed out to a local company. Unfortunately I did not look at the satisfaction rating of the local company. Not very good. The engineer called by appointment but had no spare parts and having consulted Google informed us we needed a replacement Sensor. So far so good and appointment made for the fitting of the sensor after the weekend by another fitter. This happened and we paid the bill of over £120. Unfortunately the spare part did not solve the problem and in fact the machine was now in a worse state than before. I contacted the firm but after about six phone calls got a very negative response and the promise of a fitter 8 days hence. When money was mentioned I was told the £120+ was gone and we would have to start again. The whole attitude was negative and I got the impression that I could either take the offer of another visit in 8 days or go somewhere else. I got absolutely nowhere so declined the offer of another expensive call out charge and stated I would go elsewhere. I think this comment was received with a deal of satisfaction!!! Needless to say I found another local company with a good satisfaction rating and they are calling later today with the required spare parts on the van. We live in hope anyway.

Really disappointed, waited in all day for appointment only to chase up after the allotted time to be told that the engineer had the wrong date and came a day early! When I asked if I could have a discount as a gesture of good will for rebooking as I would have to wait at home again I was told no its a fixed price-I didn't rebook!

complete waste of money. Paid them £86 to spend 5 minutes and tell me the Miele hood is obsolete (obviously, as I had already stated in the booking it is 20 years old) and there is nothing they can do.

I booked an engineer appointment monday between 8.00 am and 1 pm at 1 .10 pm i phoned to ask if the engineer was running late and Glotech said ooohhh we have passed this job on to another company so I rang the other company and guess what no engineer calling Monday I had my very large side by side fridge freezer removed out of the intergrated space and yes its still stood there I will never again ring Glotech absolutely disgusted with their service no follow up call to ask if the engineer had been well guess I will book a more reputable company today

One of the worst customer experiences I've had with their customer service team member Rhianon. If you're thinking of taking out an insurance package for your electrical appliance, make sure it's NOT with Glotech. When we first signed up and organised an appointment, they changed the date. Fine. Things happen. Then when the engineer came out, it took them nearly a month to get the spare parts in and get the engineer to come out again to fix our faulty washing machine. Engineer said it was now working. After 1 use, the washing machine broke. Another part was broken. We waited another week and a half to have the engineer come out again to check. It's been over 3 weeks again and not only did we have to chase them 5 times, but the engineer claimed he came by and no one was home, even though I have been home the whole day waiting for the repair. The customer service agent Rhianon was not helpful and condescending. Please train your customer service representatives in dealing with upset customers. After 2 months, we still have a faulty washing machine and would like our money back as this has been the worst experience to date. Whatever you do, don't go with Glotech. Their claim that 80% of their call outs are next day is false. Check it out for yourself.

Avoid!!. The engineer couldn't be bothered to look for parking, insisted that I call up Westminster council to ask for a permit (they don't offer those). Couldn't be bothered to wait 10 minutes until he found a parking space even though I suggested many places, even offered to take his tools while he went to the local parking garage 5 minutes down the road. In the 10 years of living at my property have never had this issue with any repairmen or engineers that have come to my house, Glotech gets the honour of being the first. He spoke to me in a very unfriendly tone and offered no solutions and ended up driving off. Ended up booking another company in the end.

Good morning Zannis, Unfortunately when an engineer comes to your premises they need somewhere close by to park their vehicle (we need the vehicle close by so we can have access to the van, and due to COVID reasons we have to keep our distance so this is why our engineer was unable to let you help with taking the tools). I have checked the engineers notes and he has took photos and I can see that there is a policy of 'permits' only and that there were also no spaces. With regards to our engineer talking to you in an unfriendly tone, all I can do is apologise for this and take this up to our management. I have sent across your review to our engineer and management also to try and resolve this issue. Apologies again. Kind regards,

Engineer didn't show up. Called the helpline and was not provided any assistance other than being put through to a voicemail where I left my contact details. No one called back unfortunately. I was stuck at home all day waiting. Very frustrating experience, will not be using or recommending them.

Very pleased with service. Helpful appointment booking, engineer telephoned ahead. Quickly identified the problem which did not require parts. Advised action to be taken which worked. Payment request four days later. All efficiently actioned with friendly courtesy. I will recommend to friends and neighbours. Stan Dell

The engineer who fixed our washer dryer (Vladimir) was excellent he was very knowledgeable and conscientious. It took 3 attempts to fix and customer services did not keep me informed if what was happening the motor was out of stock and I called twice before they got back to me but am overall happy with Glotech would have been a 5 if not for this .

engineer perfect, arrived after 10 days (so slow), no part on board (yet I gave them part number), then wait another two weeks for part, then now, engineer sick, so rebooking - a month without freezer (so far) I wonder if this review makes it into the list!
