“Glottic repair is promising to repair our fridge since November 2020. Very bad service no one to talk to and you get to talk to the CallCenter. And they hold £500 of our money since November”

“A first class site with easy input. Phone-in to pay was a long wait but otherwise a very fast service by Glotech. Prices are very competitive. New washing machine ordered but a disappointing service from delivery/installation company Kaboodle needing 18 days to perform - still waiting !”

“First time we have used Glotech services. Picked them up via Checkatrader. We were having problems with our dishwasher. We needed replacement parts. Both engineers that came out were tidy efficient and courteous. Before their arrival we were notified of a half hour arrival slot. Very efficient and pleased with this company's service.”

“Zanussi fridge freezer needing new compressor vey expensive but told I would have to sign a disclaimer as Glotech did not agree that re-gassing needed and therefore do not recommend it, hence the disclaimer. Crazy or what… so I did not progress the repair, cheaper and safer to by new. Is Zanussi aware of your opinion Regards Stephen Bush”

“Your website led me to believe that a skilled professional would arrive with a van full of spare parts for the fridge freezer that I'd told you about. What I actually got for £75 was a surly "Whirlpool" employee who barely looked at the fridge then googled spare parts. I was then asked if I'd like glotech to recommend a replacement fridge which would entitle me to half of my £75 fee back. I agreed to this and heard nothing. Very disappointed and certainly won't recommend you to anyone else.”

“A call to let me know that repairman was running late would have been helpful As expected between 8-1 and arrived at 13.35 When I called to check if someone still voming I could only leave a voicemail However when engineer arrived the problem dealt with quickly and efficiently by a pleasant young man so ultimately I was pleased with the service”

“Very easy to book, the follow up email did say that the company would be in touch shortly to take payment. I had to phone to check that i was booked in for the following day as they had not phoned me. The email just needs to be updated, otherwise everything was great. The engineer was on time, very clean and tidy, very helpful. would use again and reconmend. thank you Diane”

“Having to pay a huge call out fee went out with the arc but I did it anyway in order to secure an engineer for my broken dishwasher. The online booking service works well and is easy to use. An engineer came down, identified the problem and said they would get back to us with a quote for parts. This never happened. I tried to call the service department which was impossible!! Impossible I tell you! You get placed in a queue of about 14 and when you get to the front of the queue they switch you off! This happened many times. The sales desk answer immediately (surprise surprise), but they were unhelpful as well, saying they can’t jump the queuing system for me as it’s a call centre. Eventually I persisted most of a day that I was off from work until eventually someone answered. They were nice and helpful, had all my details in their computer along with the prices of the parts. Why didn’t they telephone or email me? I don’t trust them, I won’t deal with a company who don’t answer a phone, we have since had another engineer who has fixed our dishwasher, but more importantly, we now have a functioning machine. I know you won’t use this review, just like you deleted my comments from Facebook and Twitter, this company only publish good reviews. I will never use Glotech or recommend Glotech to any of my friends and family. I’m sorry I lost £89 but lessons learned I guess”

“Booked appointment online. Engineer didn’t turn up. Didn’t call to explain why. When I rang the company they chased him up but he hadn’t informed them he wouldn’t be coming either. Someone had to wait in all day for no reason. Next appointment wasn’t for weeks. Was offered a refund which would take 3-5 days. Will wait and see if it appears”

“Easy booking for repair of washing machine which we had inherited together with a drier when we bought the house last year. Ben arrived and was very efficient and knowledgeable. He also spotted the drier next to the washing machine and pointed out that it was on a recall list, similar machines having caused fires, and disconnected it. We were extremely grateful for this as we may not have picked it up ourselves. Impressed by the service.”
