Excellent service, the engineer was very polite and obliging and knew his job. Would use it again if any white goods go wrong.

I feel that the overall service was very poor. Having paid £85 up front as Glotech preferred, the day organised (Friday 10th March) was cancelled due to illness of the technician. The re-organised date (Tuesday 14th March) was equally disappointing as I was unable to receive notice of the technician’s arrival due to a bad phone signal. Although a Glotech lady called me again at 12am to say that the technician had arrived at my address, he didn’t wait for me to meet him despite assurances from the lady that she would ask him to. I think that if I have the patience to wait four days due to a cancellation from Glotech then Glotech should have the patience to wait half an hour for me to meet with their engineer. Also on the Friday I had any possible absence by me covered by my landlord but he wasn’t able to cover me on the Tuesday. I think it is unreasonable for Glotech to expect working people to cover times when there is no guarantee of a Glotech engineer’s arrival. When an engineer arrived on Thursday 16th he discovered what the problem was but my experience of the preceding days prevail.

It is very disappointing when any member of a working team is off ill and the impact it causes however these situations cannot be avoided we have apologised for that - your appointment was remade. due to the illness several of the engineers appointments were affected and obviously if the engineer waited for half an hour at the property of customer it would mean that as the day progressed he would not be able to attend other customers who also had bookings and were waiting - we do understand this was frustrating for you and apologise for the inconvenience however the engineer did attend to complete the repair on the second appointment which you were not home for and so he came back on the third booking and as you said he did diagnose the problem. we feel that 1* is very harsh given the circumstances we do however thank you for the feedback.

Couldn’t fix the problem went away to check and said was going to call us back .. but never did .

Excellent service. Immediate phone response. Engineer booked immediately. Instant diagnose of fault. Immediate order of new part. Call to say part obtained, and New appt. booked. Engineer fitted new element very speedily and tested oven. All worked. Again excellent service. Wish every company worked liked yours. Will book you again if and when we get any more problems. Very efficient with speedy response and repair time. However very expensive. The repair took less than 10 minutes and total cost was £170

so far so good as we are now waiting on a replacement dishwasher to be supplied by Glotech. Technician who came to repair old one was on time and explained the reasons why the machine was not working showing evidence of calcinated pipework. He sent cost of replacement parts but advised that difference between cost of new parts and a new machine was quite small. We decided to go for a new dishwasher via Glotech. Glotech then halved the initial cost of the callout charge as only one visit was made. Very good service and await delivery of new machine within the estimated period.

The engineer came decided it was the compressor and that a replacement Fridge Freezer would be the best idea. He said someone would ring in two hours and also some quotes sent by email. No phone call no email. I phoned I emailed. Nothing. Then I get a automated email asking if I was happy with the work done! I would really like to get my call out charge back.

We had a technical problem with our appliance.glotech sent an engineer who advised it was more costly to repair than to replace. He ordered new appliance and it was replaced the following day .what a service

The job was very brief, with the engineer inspecting the machine and saying that we would be as good to buy a new machine due to the parts cost.

Andrew was cheerful and efficient and solved what was , in the end, simply a hairclip behind the filter. Altering the date of the visit twice by email was a problem for me. A phone call would have been better. That would have been 5 star service.

I am so pleased that Andrew was able to resolve the issue - its always amazing how some very small things like hairclips and screws can have such a big impact on our domestic appliances...
