Appalling insurance company. Kept asking me to drive my car during the lockdown with nowhere to go! Unbelievable. When I spoke to someone about it they didn’t know what I meant! Avoid at all cost.

AWFUL! Official documents said cancel by email, phone or letter. I emailed to cancel within 14 day cooling off period and received receipt of the email being received but nothing else. Tried calling loads but kept getting put on hold or hung up on! One grumpy advisor had an extremely bad line and told me she was working form home so it's not her fault and then dropped the call! When I eventually got through (about 4 hours of attempted calls in total) I was told that my cancellation was not actioned because it wasn't done by phone call. I said documents state otherwise and she said "well we never do it like that so you're going to have to speak to my manager." Manager not available so I just told her to cancel from today and I would chase it up to reclaim the money lost from previous days. Further chasing proved fruitless. Manager never available and nobody else in the call centre able to discuss cancellation by email. Further, upon refund being received, they whacked me with a £75 charge for cancelling and said cooling off period does not apply... think they need to check the legality of that! I was eventually told that an underwriter would contact me regarding my reclaim and no such call ever came through. Wise Driving washing their hands and saying they don't actually provide insurance now so I would not recommend them to anyone.

Shocking!!!! Trying to rob me! This company took another years finance out in my name after my policy ended its them without my consent or signature on anything and because I’m disputing it they have closed the complaint and basically said I owe them 344quid! For one months insuarance, cancellation fees and 90 quid for other charges! Scammers robbing off vulnerable people should be shut down and I will be reporting them not paying as what they have done is illegal!

We sent a renewal invite via email prior to the renewal date, to let you know what happens next and to ask that you call us, if you want to stop the policy from renewing. Do not use them, scammers just want to make money then cancel the policy for no reason, with no chance of explaining or getting changed. admin fees and extortionate cancellation fees! DO NOT USE

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Even if you paid me to use this company it would still be the last company on earth I'd ever use. I have genuinely never dealt with a worse company. I have spent THREE HOURS over 4 seperate calls renewing my car insurance only for each time to recieve an email confirming it has been cancelled. I've given my bank details on each 4 occasions and still the most unintelligent team on earth cannot complete the simpliest of tasks. I have never in my life felt so frustrated or irritated. In the end I insured with a different company, however they are now demanding a cancellation fee despite them cancelling themselves. You disgusting excuse for a company. Sort your customer service out, because this is completely unacceptable. Truly appalling, and shocking service, and I'm surprised you overall rating even managed to get to 2 stars... If I could have left no stars that still would have been too many.

Following your conversation on 9th April 2021, I have escalated your concerns to the complaints department to investigate this matter further. An acknowledgement letter will be issued within 5 working days, highlighting our complaints procedures. A letter will be sent, confirming the case handler and their contact information. Installed black box within the 14 days but did not show on your system and you then cancelled the policy after not informing me that you would be cancelling the policy due to the black box not having being installed. Then refused to reinstate the policy. Very bad customer service.

One of the worst insurance companies I’ve ever had. Would not recommend. My car is with a private mechanic as it has been out of use for a couple of months. They’ve increased my monthly payment by nearly £80 and then when I call to ask why the person I spoke to was disgracefully rude. Then when I asked to speak to somebody else was told I have to wait 24-48 hours for a callback. So I now have to pay nearly double for my insurance and they can’t even address it within a good time frame. Not good enough at all!!

In the space of having a black box installed two days ago, they are telling me they will cancel already if it doesn’t improve within 200 miles, cancellation score is 30 I am at 29, bare in mind I paid a deposit of £350 2 weeks ago and my first insurance payment came out on Monday of £150, a normal company, the deposit covers your first month of driving and they don’t chase you up on payments within a week of the policy being a thing... tried to call up asking for an explanation, for example how they can come up with a score like that when I’ve had the black box installed for two days, of which only used for roughly 30 minutes, instantly met with a rude woman who you could barely understand due to the poor connection and handset on her end, to then be blamed for poor connection and have the phone rudely put down on me? I’m only 19 and it was a ballache getting together the money to pay for a deposit and first month of insurance within the space of a week. I DIDNT DO IT FOR IT TO BE CANCELLED WITHIN A DAY

After being a customer for almost 2 years, having only 2 months left and never missed a payment. THEY CANCELLED MY INSURANCE? DISGUSTING! I swapped car and they sent me a new blackbox that did not arrive, nor did I sign for it. To then just cut me off without warning.

Absolutely poor customer service on the phone. You can be charged load of extra money even you never make a claim from them. Check all the detail before you buy! It is actually cheaper to go for other insurrance companies!

As this is a telematics/box policy, as part of the terms and conditions, your driving is monitored and you can be given either refunds or additional premiums on a monthly basis, based on how well you drive. WiseDriving are not to be trusted, Their are scummers who run under the igo4.com. on the 6th march 2021 I have sign up with them as a new client I paid annually, On the next following day I have received a new email " Your policy details have changed" with Additional Premium fees that is equivalent to what I have already paid on the 6th, On the 7th of march 2021 I have called them to find out Why am I been charged with this new Additional Premium fees their have failed to provide any additional information regards the new Policy that their have created that I never agree on, The lady I spoke to unbelievable she was so rude and shouting (couldn't barely speak okay English) "I keep telling her to come down I am just trying to find out this new Policy and why am I been charge additional fees." At this point she stood her ground and refuse to do anything about it and I have been threatened if I do not pay this new fees my Policy will be cancelled and debt collection agency will be knocking my door, What so scary about this is that their already had my credit card details Automatically saved on their system without my permission. I was left with only one option but to cancel my policy as I did not agree with the new policy their have email to me, I have been charge over £200 to cancel my policy, Keep in mind when you are signing up with them it says within 14days you can cancel the policy and the charging fees is £35 if it pass over the 14days the fees goes up to £75 but in my situation it was different according to them they have covered me when I have been trying to solve this problem over the phone on 7th march 2021 I join them on the 6th march 2021 you do the maths here. Plus my blackbox I was supposed to fit on my car hasn't even aravind yet, On the exactly day I was trying to solve this issue with them I got a text message saying your new WiseDriving box has been dispatched and is currently with DHL. But still I was charge £200 fees for canceling my Policy. My advice to anyone out there is to be careful with this Agency WiseDriving that runs under the igo4.com as their are rude and Money grabber, Don't fail for their fake quote online.

This company a right-off rip, they charge you so much money for their services, take the money upfront before, and don't refund a penny. If you know what's good for you avoid them at any price.

Been with wisedrive for a long while now and on renewal, they didn’t take payments for 6months due to ‘a mistake on their end’, while claiming I was still covered for the months I wasn’t paying for which is hard to believe, so I now have to pay the excess amount each month for the remainder of my policy with them. No professionalism and I will be moving on to a cheaper insurance company ASAP.

Absolutely disgusted....I received an email to say my sons driving had been poor over the last month and they demanded £774 from him, he is 18 and does not have this kind of money to hand. We had no warning (ie an email to say so like the one I received demanding £774) to say his score had dropped and there is no app so its not that straight forward to check on a regular basis, my son hasn't even been driving his car much as he gets picked up for work so the car has been sat on the drive. I asked to take the matter further but the lady on phone said I couldn't. I asked for an explanation as to how they could possibly come up with that kind of figure its absolutely ludicrous but again I was told I couldn't be given this information. I was just told if we didn't pay it the policy will be cancelled. My son and myself are now having sleepless nights worrying about this. Shocking service

This company lacks transparency about how much it may cost if your driving scores drops. They were the most competitive when initially signing up but don't be drawn in by this. I had £724 taken off my credit card after only having the policy for just over 2 months as my driving score allegedly dropped! Last year I was insured with Co-op without any extra costs!

We are sorry to hear you are unhappy with the policy. Every customers overall premium is different and their individual and overall scores will also be different. Therefore, there is no set price for charges which may apply in the event your overall score drops. We encourage you to check your scores regularly, as a drop of 10 points or more can result in an additional charge. Conversely, if your score increases by 10 points or more, you may be entitled to refunds. Many thanks, Holly

avoid at all costs they are just out to get as much money out of you as possible. Telling me my telematics box recorded low score when the car hadnt moved as was for my partner learning to drive, called customer services to be told they dont know what happened,Asked to get put through to telematics department-dont take incoming calls,asked to speak to customer service manager-doesnt take incoming calls-a joke and never had a call back. Ased to cancle and then they hang up call,I have 10 years no claims,no points and 49 but still had to have black box. Just a legal way to scam you of money.

Absolutely shocking!!! Phoned them 4 times to see if I was covered if my car got caught in a flood and each time I phoned I kept getting hung up on. The first time I phoned someone just said ‘yeah’ and hung, second time I phoned I was on hold for 30 minutes then I got hung up on, third time I got transferred to the claims department and then I was hung up on. And the forth time I finally got through to someone and all they said I’m gonna have to phone back tomorrow as they need to speak with the under writers and then they said bye and hung up. Absolutely disgusting. I think when it’s time to renewal, I’ll be looking elsewhere

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR IGO4!!!! Absolutely shocking AVOID!! requested support installing the telematic device with no response to emails and calls so they canceled my policy without even responding to my email explaining why I couldn’t install myself. Eventually after hours of phone calls wisedriving reinstated my policy and sent me wrong and misleading advice on how to install the device to my vehicle. As it’s a mild hybrid it requires an engineer to install by the looks of things... still I don’t know m. Mercedes Benz will not touch this as it’s a third party device and wisedriving will not assist any further as they say igo4 wants the policy cancelled unless the device is installed so basically I’m in limbo. They said they would keep my £150.00 deposit for the device and charge me an early cancellation fee of £75.00. I’ve never been treated in such a manner they have no concept of customer service or the fact we are in lockdown and will not provide support to install the device other than sending pictures that is not for my vehicle and advise that’s wrong. I will be reporting Wisedriving & igo4 to the financial ombudsman. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPAY OR IGO4 AS THE STRESS AND HOURS ON THE PHONE IS BAD FOR YOUR MENTAL HELATH.
