Why won't you insure me next year. Is it because my black box score is excellent? Therefore you wouldn't make enough money.out of a safe driver? Are you going to come and remove the black box?

No one answers your calls,cancel your policy when you've paid 144pound upfront,don't answer voicemail,worst company iv ever had car insurance off

Tryed to get through by phone waited one and a half hours with no reply,have not received my driving box due to royal mail saying no address exists yet I get mail every day,thanks

Awful insurance company, very expensive if you get black box . Most fraud company is wise driving. I waste lot of money with this company. I Never recommend this one for future customers.

My son has been with the company a while on his black box everything except his acceleration is excellent. 100/100 for most areas and then 0/100 for acceleration- my son drives very safely if he’s acceleration is so bad surely his braking would also need to be bad to compensate. It’s a joke his last two payments have gone up an extra £80 each. On reading reviews it looks like there is a problem with the data when it comes to acceleration yet it’s the drivers getting penalised and not being looked into by the company sounds like a lot of fobbing off with photos of the box etc. As long as they are getting the money they don’t care and are praying on young/new drivers knowing they want to get a full years no claims etc and haven’t got many options when it comes to first time insurance. Overall It’s bringing his score down to 80 - that’s still good yet they are taking him to the cleaners when it comes to increased premium - looks a bit iffy and looks like they are trying to get as much out of him as possible before he ups and chooses a different company in a few months. He’s called and asked how much it would be to cancel he got the reply to wait a few days as his next payment is due out and she couldn’t give him a cancellation amount. I’m guessing he will then not be any cheaper to cancel part way through the month or continue to pay stupid amount. He’s a student who also works part time paying his way but with the hike in premium he’s going to have to have help from us to afford it. Ridiculous!

Had their black box since November… all scores were 100% until end of January then my acceleration suddenly dropped to 0 within a month. I got charged £120 for the premium increase so rang and asked how this could be. Very helpful gentleman on the phone looked at the data for me… 50 odd incidents on one straight road for acceleration but there were road works for weeks on that road so it was flagging up poor acceleration in traffic!? But my braking was 100% so it doesn’t make sense… if I am accelerating excessively of erratically in traffic then how am I also braking perfectly? He asked me to send a picture of my box as he felt it needed investigating, I didn’t hear back for ages but kept asking on Facebook for any updates but they said no. I rang customer services again and they said head office had deemed there were no anomalies and the data was correct. Nobody told me! I asked how my acceleration could be 0% but my braking 100% but she couldn’t give me an answer. 0%!!!! And 100%!!! I recently looked on my account at the dashboard (I stopped looking because everyday my score went down and I couldn’t bear it) and 4 days after I complained my acceleration score has miraculously started to improve??? Have they reset my scoring? If so I want my £120 back and my score to go back to 100 as I should be due a premium refund for good driving. Something extremely dodgy and I won’t be letting this go.

Definitely avoid this company at all costs. When I took out this policy for months my scores were 100. Apart from time score. Then about a month before the March review my acceleration score started decreasing, it decreased every time I drove from then (no fluctuations, just decreased every single time I drove). All scores remained 99/100. I have dashcam footage of my driving, so I know there has been no change in my accelerating, but apparently it gets worse every day. Other reviews I've read, people are having this same issue. I spoke with one person at wise driving and this is because they want to increase your premiums. Low and behold, within a week or so, my premium increased as they decreased my score enough to charge additional premiums. My score was 99 for months, yet all of a sudden my driving is now worse. Also my score was still excellent at that point, but going from an excellent score to an excellent score, requires additional premiums (make sense? Nope). If I take a drive now, it will be guaranteed that my scores will be 99/100, but my acceleration will decrease from the previous score. This is 100% guaranteed. No change to the way I drive or accelerate, but wise driving thinks there's nothing wrong with the box and this is normal driving behaviour. 23 Feb (and months prior): 100, 25 Feb: 98, followed by scores: 94, 91, 88, 84, 82, 81, 77, 75, 75, 70, 70, 67, 65, 63, 57, 54, 51, 49, 48 Apparently that's normal. Avoid this company at all costs, the company effectively operates a racketeering operation.

awful awful company !!! if i could give this 0 stars i would. they increased my premium due to bad driving behaviour when all of my stats were excellent/good except my acceleration! One employee said that i should email a picture of my black box as he thinks there was a problem with it. He said it would take up to 3 days- this was early february !!!!!!!! it’s almost been a month and i haven’t heard a straight answer !!! all the employees don’t know what they’re talking about- i’ve had different excuses from each of them. They are cancelling my insurance because of this. Absolute joke of a company- if you could even call it that. I still haven’t got answers as they don’t answer their emails or their phone.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I’m not the only one that has had this issue according to previous reviews.

What went wrong; Persistent issue with inaccurate data for acceleration score yet Wise Driving insist there's nothing wrong with the box (how can they tell this by a photo that was emailed.to them I'll never know)!! Data request made (company who manage the data are a subsidiary of Wise Driving ao won't hold my breath for a response).... Can't get a straight/definitive answer from any advisers (I don't know if this is due to lack of adequate training &/or the employees just can't be a*sed).... Due to this ongoing issue they want to charge Me an extra £177, even d*ck turpin wore a mask!! They say its due to poor acceleration, I think not!! They have admitted there's a data error so are using an average to work out my score for acceleration, how the fluff is that accurate when they're openly admitting that there's error's/issue's with the data!!

Awful customer service. I’ve had a black box policy for 2 weeks and all my scores are excellent (100% or minimum 90%) but the acceleration varies between 0% (very poor) and 25% poor. At the start it was good but now is at the lowest point it can be. I have not changed the way I drive. I am a 42 year old mother, usually travelling with my child in the car so am super careful. I don’t speed (my speed score is 100%) so how can my acceleration be so poor? I think the box is faulty, no matter how I drive (I’ve experimented accelerating fast and accelerating gently and acceleration super slowly and the score does not really improve). I think this is a way to get money out of me by increasing my monthly premiums. I’m so annoyed with this company as no one answers the phone or replies to any live chats or emails. Seems I’m not the only person who has experienced the same issue with the same company. AVOID!

Terrible experience PLEASE PEOPLE AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!!! It’s CHEAP for a reason and the reason is that because they are trying to SCAM vulnerable people!!!!!!!!! You are going to pay more and more and more if you join this pathetic company this pure joke company !!!!!

I bought cover with them in April, I was halfway through the year. My premium increased by £26 and I had a week to pay. They don’t answer on Sundays, so I had 5 days to pay. No call, or anything, and holding on call takes hours. Cancelled my insurance on the last day without another word.

It was not clear this insurance is with black box and when I bought it immediately I want to cancel it but no body answerd and there is no way to give your money back. This is kind of fraud.

I bought my policy with what I thought was a trusted company with a good reputation but turns out I have to deal with a company called PUKKA INSURANCE who have no idea what they are doing, 7 week after being smashed off the a 70mph dual carrigeway by other driver who nearly missed his cut off I have been wrongly advised several times, been told absolute lies that I can prove and now 49 days later with no curtesy car and now have found that my car has not been collected to assess the damage at the garage, therefore I have been left with no result and after at least 3 complaints still have no resulution and now they say they do not actually know where my car is. Unbelievable!! Date of accident - 13/August/2022. Todays date - 01/October/2022.

YOUR INSURANCE IS Rubbish!!!! YOU are always threatening people that you will cancel their Insurance! You act like you are the only insurance! I travelled but you kept Sending emails About not receiving any data from my box! How do you expect to receive Data from a car that’s not being used? I even emailed you countless times But you still went along and cancelled my insurance! YOU ARE THE WORST INSURANCE!!!!

Constantly changing amounts per month Send letter tell you there going to end the insurance if you don’t contact them and just spend and hour and half on hold telling me there was only a 5 minute wait to only have to call cut off by them, absolutely ridiculous of a company

By far the worst company I have ever had to deal with. From day one they were trying to cancel my policy. After 12 months they had attempted to cancel my policy 14 times, for various reason, none of which were valid. It is almost impossible to contact them (most of their emails or texts are from “no reply” addresses). It takes at least 45 mins to contact them by phone, and when you do it is always a terrible line with somebody who talks too fast and barely speaks any English, and very rude. Each department does not communicate with each other. To top it off I informed them I would not be continuing with them for a second year, yet they totally ignored this and went ahead and renewed my insurance. They continue to ignore all my communication about this. I would highly recommend to everybody to stay well clear of this utter joke of a company.

Was with them for a year, with a decent young drivers quote of £600. The next year, I needed to change my address so I did, and they gave me a renewal quote of over £900.

Complete money takers, never answer the telephone in less than 40 minutes usually way exceeds this. Despite saying that you can cancel the policy within 14 days you get hit with not just the £75 admin fee advised but you pay for the days you are on cover but additional fees. Total rip off, no documentation ever received, and to get a refund of the initial £575 fees took over a week and then £146 withheld which we are still fighting for. Despite numerous emails 6 weeks on still no further forwards. Would never use them or recommend them.
